"Marco!" The sudden call by my brother, Stephen, appeared from the bedroom doorway. "Come on! Let's go!" he giddily announced, his voice a little too loud for the early hour. "I can't wait to visit the Moon family!"
I paused, one hand mid-way to buttoning the cuff of my long-sleeved tunic. "Alright, just wait for me outside," I said, trying to calm the commotion he'd brought in. I turned my head over him, a deep, weary sigh catching in my throat. His tunic was rumpled, his usually impeccable hair a disaster of sleep and hurried movement. "And Stephen, could you please check with Nana Lucia about the food I requested?"
"Food?" he asked, his brow furrowing in genuine confusion.
