[Frank's Point of View]
The living room is filled with happy noise. We were all piled in together—family, friends, and our two newest companions, Laura and Kaoru. They were sitting close, and it was funny watching them because they were so similar yet completely opposite. They both shared a core of being stubborn, but in very different ways... Laura was mean and stubborn, while Kaoru was shy and stubborn.
"Y-you always say that, Tyler, but I-I told you I'm not that good!" Kaoru stammered, defending herself against my cousin's relentless teasing. Her cheeks were bright pink, she was flustered but determined to argue.
"But you really are amazing, Kaoru! Seriously, just please teach me your techniques," Tyler pleaded, leaning forward with puppy-dog eyes. He was clearly desperate to learn whatever skill Kaoru was hiding.
"T-that's—" Kaoru started, trying to find a good excuse, but she was cut off.
