Since he was gone, Xialin merrily went inside the house.
There were all smiles on her face after she encountered Huojin. He was the mood maker of Miss Xialin. As she was joyously walking inside the house, she noticed that the elder Jianguo was sleeping peacefully on his bed.
He seems tired as well.
Upon seeing him fast asleep, Xialin slow down her paced and went past his room. She then went forth to her room.
Arriving there, she sat down on her bed and took out the red and sky blue pouch.
Xialin opened up the red pouch which the leader of the dance troupe gave her. It contains some of the silver and gold taels in it. The leader was being generous in giving her the taels. Feeling good with it, Xialin smiled and kept it on her cupboard.
She then opened up the sky blue pouch as she returned to her bed. She took out the black lustrous lucky stone and was left gawking into it. Intrigued by it, she spoke up in dazed, "What a beautiful stone but will it give me health and good luck?!"
