Katie stood in her room, mirror in front of her, hands clenched into tiny fists at her sides.
Her reflection looked… weary.
The last few days had been hard. She'd been avoiding Tian — not because she didn't care, but because the things in her heart felt too loud and confusing. Every time she saw him, her pulse seemed to jump, and her thoughts tangled into knots.

Then louder.

She paced around her room, talking to her reflection like she would talk to a friend.
"You're brave," she said, rubbing her palms together.
"You're strong… even when you're scared."
"And things don't have to be perfect to be okay."
Her voice grew steadier with every sentence she said aloud.
At first, it sounded strange. But then it felt good — like she was giving a hug to her own thoughts.
Suddenly, her phone buzzed on the desk.
She froze.
Maybe it's Tian.
Her breath caught.
…But she didn't shy away from it.
Instead, she picked up the phone.
And for the first time in a while…
She didn't look away.
everyone went to swimming class that day and Layla saw Katie in the cupboard side with nico so she went to talk to her.
"i heard theses days Tian helping you lot", Layla asked.
"no not like that, he helping others too not only to me that's all", Katie replied.
"fine, if you know that,you also liked him right?, am I right?you better give up, don't be sensitive", Layla asked again.
"what you want", Nico asked too to Layla.
Layla looks Nico up and down and laughing
"it's seems you have so many saviours huh? if you like Tian then propose him, are you afraid?", Layla teased Katie and laughed with her friends.
"I'm not afraid", Katie replied.
"then go and propose him go-ahead what you waiting for?", Layla said.
then Katie increase her braveness and went to Tian. Tian is sitting in the chair and checking his phone. Katie saw that and went to him but she afraid little.
"what do you want? if nothing just leave", Tian said.
"okay" Katie replied and walking back to Nico, others are laughed after seeing that. Tian don't understand why but within 5 seconds she turned her head and proposed to him.
"I love you" Katie proposed to Tian
everyone their after heard that stunned and Tian also surprised.
"I know I'm not that brave but I like you since middle school"
after proposed she looking directly at Tian eyes and they both looking eachother. Tian don't know what to reply that time he is too surprised.
"I'm sorry", Katie apologized to Tian and running away out of that place because he doesn't reply anything, he just stunned and Xing Fei saw everything silently and getting angry.
After school
Nico trying to cheerup Katie but Katie is still afraid about Tian. when students call Tian name katie trying to hide backside of Nico but Tian already saw katie.when he crossed them he looking at Katie like blank face, Then he went home. Nico and Katie also went to Katie's father restaurant.
"what happened to Katie", Katie's father asked
"she crossed out of line today that's why", Nico answered.
"out of line?what's that mean", Katie's father is confusing.
"nothing dad, leave us alone ...go and check customers", Katie replied.
after her father left.
"what to do now? how I can meet tomorrow Tian? he'll angry right?", Katie said and cried.
"don't worry atleast you proposed him otherwise how can he know your feelings", Nico replied.
"ahhh I ruined everything, he definitely going to hate me", Katie replied and smack his head to the table and cried.

in Tian house after he taking shower Tian thinking about Katie with blank face. then someone called him in phone after he saw his phone he don't reply anything, he just looking his phone and deep sigh, then he went to bed , he don't really angry about Katie but shocked.
