After distributing the things the soldiers and policemen got much more confidence. Sometimes few zombies attacked their base and they successfully killed them and Sam collected the zombie crystals. Alex told him to save as much crystals as he can. Alex planned on using the CES(Crystal to Electricity System) technology only on cloudy days otherwise he used solar energy for everything. Among the 32 girls whom he saved from the hostel, 10 of them were doctors and 12 were engineers and 5 of them were chefs and remaining 5 were students doing management courses. He gave each of them jobs according to their knowledge. He also collected furnitures and many other things and made a small restaurant in the base and appointed one of the management students as the manager. She decided that here people have to give double the amount of food they want to eat. Like if someone wants to eat 1 bowl of noodles and 2 pieces of chicken, they have to give 2 packets of noodles and 4 pieces of chicken along with required ingredients mentioned by the chefs. Alex was also happy after hearing this idea as it will also help them to increase their food stock. There was only one kitchen in the base as keeping many kitchens will cause problems. The other 4 girls who did management course were appointed to look after the base. Alex then left with Serene to search other things. After searching for few days they found seeds of various fruits, vegetables and spices. Alex and Serene also found many torches and batteries. Alex kept on storing thing which he thinks to be usefull. After 2 weeks Alex and Serene suddenly found a shop which had many cars and there were many solar cars. He drove his solar car while Serene also took a solar car and drove it back to the base. Then he took few more people with him and brought the remaining 9 solar cars back to the base. There was a total 10 solar cars excluding Alex's modified solar car. He also found and brought the other cars of different companies like Audi, Bentley, Mercedes and Porsche. Alex and Sam worked together on how to modify these cars so that they could run on batteries which can be charged with solar energy without losing its speed.
