Emica Kana:
Watching from behind a corner, Noon and I see Furyoku clapping her hands. When she does, the tornado breaks apart, but all the smoke stays.
"Aahhhh!"
Screaming into the air, Furyoku then shoots up, disappearing into the smoke and out of sight.
"Do you see him?" Noon asks, hovering beside me.
"Not yet," I answer while still scanning the massive smoke cloud. As I keep watching, I finally see someone jumping out. "There!"
Moving fast, I throw my chain and swing through the air before safely landing behind a building.
"Akio! Akio? Where are you?"
"Behind you."
While Noon screams and pats her chest, I turn around and smile.
"I am glad to see you--"
Before I can finish, Akio rushes forward. He throws his arms around me, pulling me into a deep hug. Smiling as Akio hugs me, feeling his warmth and strength, I hug him back. Eventually, we pull back.
"I am glad to see you safe," Akio starts.
"Thank you. I'm glad to see you are safe, too, but what about Freddy? Is he--"
"Freddy is fine."
Hearing a familiar voice, Noon and I look behind to see Freddy walking forward, rubbing his head.
"Not exactly 100 percent, but still fine. Ouch."
Jumping slightly, Freddy stops rubbing his head and turns to Akio and me. He then laughs.
"I never thought I would see you two again so soon, but I'm not complaining. Did you manage to find Amber?"
"Uhh, who?"
"She's Freddy's 'big fan'," Noon whispers in my ears, "Or in Nemo's words, she's the 'crazy stalker'."
"Oh, her. No. I didn't see Amber anywhere. Did you?"
Akio shakes his head.
"No, neither did I. Wait, it must be her! Amber must be the one being controlled by the dakura tchingu. She is Furyoku."
"But where is the dakura tchingu hiding? Furyoku is made entirely of wind. She doesn't have anything on her."
"Maybe she hid it somewhere. But then, where would she have hidden the item?"
Freddy Benjamin:
As I watch the gears in both ninjas' heads turning, I can't help but think about the last time I saw Amber. Or, the last, last time I saw Amber.
"The item," I start, "Is it something usually important to the person? Like, something valuable to them?"
The Green and Red Ninja turn to me.
"I don't know about valuable," the Green Ninja answers. "Usually, the item the dakura tchingu is hiding in is often something they are just carrying with them. It doesn't have to be valuable."
"Something they are carrying with them. Doesn't have to be valuable, but maybe important to them."
I repeat the Green Ninja's words to myself while still thinking about the last, last time I saw Amber.
"Hopefully, this isn't my ego speaking."
Running to a corner, the Green and Red Ninja run after me. I stop at the corner and peek around. There, still in the sky, looking for us, is Amber. Or Furyoku. Screaming and shouting, she swings her hands all over, throwing things everywhere. Leaning a just little forward, despite the two ninjas' protest, I zoom in on Amber's straw hat. Finally, I turn back to the Green Ninja and Red Ninja.
"I think I know where the dakura tchingu is hiding."
Both raise their heads when they hear me. Smiling, I point at my head.
"It's underneath her hat."
"Underneath her hat," the Red Ninja repeats. "No. That's impossible. Nothing can fit underneath her hat."
"I agree," the Green Ninja says.
"No, no, no. Listen. About half a year ago, I met Amber for the first time. It was at a doughnut shop, and I think she was working as one of the staff there. Before I left, I gave her a signed--"
Before I can finish explaining, the wind picks up around us.
"Find you!"
All of us turning and looking up, we see Furyoku hovering. Grinding her teeth, Furyoku then throws her hand forward. A powerful wind hits the three of us. We all scream as we try to resist, but it's no use. The Green Ninja, the Red Ninja, and even I are all thrown into the air. Flying uncontrollably, I look ahead and see an incoming trailer.
"Ahhh!"
Crossing my arms, bracing myself, I feel another powerful wind grab me.
"Uh! Wha--What?"
Hearing a loud bang, I look and see both the Green Ninja and Red Ninja sliding off the trailer. Moaning, groaning, and holding their arms, they both look up at me. Trapped in another tornado, it brings me back to Furyoku's side.
"Freddy. Are you okay? Oh, don't worry. I'll protect you."
Turning away from me, Furyoku looks at the Green and Red Ninja. Slowly pushing themselves up, they bring out their weapons, but all this does is make Furyoku angry. With a simple swing of her hand, Furyoku blows both the ninjas into a nearby wall, knocking the weapons out of their hands. The two are once again pushing themselves up, but this time, they're panting.
"Hold on, Freddy. I need to get something from them. Once I do, then you will finally be safe."
"Safe? Safe! No! Fu--Amber! You need to stop!"
"What!"
I must have stunned Amber because in that moment, she stops moving, and the tornado carrying me stops spinning. I drop to the ground, my feet landing on solid ground.
"Ouch. That hurts."
Shaking it off, I run and get in between Amber and the two ninjas and spread out my arms.
"Amber! You need to stop."
"Freddy, what are you doing?"
"Yeah," the Green Ninja says. "What are you doing?"
"Saving you two," I answer. "And Amber."
Amber shakes her head and moves closer to me.
"Freddy, I'm trying to save you."
"Save me? From who? Them?"
I step to the side and show them the ninjas.
"Amber. They're not the bad ones here. I'm sorry, but the bad one here is you."
Amber gasps. She jumps back while covering her mouth.
"I mean, look around. You almost destroyed every building here. You kidnapped me. You even hurt them. Is this what you can safe?"
"Well, no, but...I was trying to--"
I put up my hand and Amber stops.
"Amber. You need to stop this."
Amber looks at me, and I look back at her.
"Freddy. I--I don't know what to say."
"You don't have to say anything."
I start slowly walking toward Amber.
"Wait," the Red Ninja shouts. "Don't! She's dangerous!"
"No, she's not. Are you?"
I put my hand on Amber's shoulder and look her in the eyes. Looking me in the eyes, Amber then looks at herself.
"What have I done? Oh no. Freddy, I--Ahhh!"
Screaming all of a sudden, I step back and watch as Amber's eyes begin glowing a dark purple color.
Amber Lincoln:
"This was not our deal!" Don' Yokuna Yokubo yells, his voice thundering inside my head. "You are supposed to get me the Emerald Dragon and the Ruby Rose! The ninjas are defeated! You won! Get me what is mine! Get them for me, and my power is yours!"
Slamming my hands on my head, I fight to keep control. Somehow, it feels like Don'Yokuna Yokubo is trying to control me.
"The deal is off," I scream back. "You can keep your powers! Ahhhh!"
Shooting my hands up, I unleash every bit of magic into the sky in the form of a small and narrow but powerful tornado. Screaming as I feel my body solidify, I drop to my knees, out of air. Despite being exhausted, I throw one of my hands back up. Taking off my hat, I grab the signed plastic bag.
"Freddy," it reads. Seeing this, I smile but also cry. Looking up, I offer the bag to Freddy.
"I think you know what you have to do."
Nodding, Freddy takes the plastic bag and pulls it apart. A strange, black, and purple shadow drops from the ripped bag. It hits the ground and slides along it. However, before it can get far, the Red Rose Ninja hits and destroys it.
