A few minutes passed and all of the other participants entered together. It seems like the emo guy and Vasco is currently fighting over something.
"You think you're better than me, huh?!"
"I am... You stupid red-head"
"What! You arrogant emo!"
Of course, Vasco is completely ignored by that emo guy. The hot-headed kid fighting a kid that doesn't care at all. It's such a bad match
Staaarreeeee~
Yet, they all stopped as they stared at Noah like jealous kids looking at the boy for having a lollipop.
"... I wonder what happened."
"Now, now, let's start the second test, shall we?"
Professor Ronson clapped his hand twice to get the other participant's attention.
"I will explain the second test. In the tables are Mana Cores and you are to use those Mana Cores to make the blade of a sword. You will use those blade for the third and last test."
Professor Ronson explained as the others started to lift the Mana Cores using their mana and in no less than a second, The Princess of the Mist has already formed that of a straight blade.
Everyone was impressed as one of the five princesses has already finished the second test in under one second.
"The second test is to test the power and manipulation of mana. The title of "Princess" was not an exaggeration after all."
Professor Ronson smirked as the others were simply amazed by Princess Mysty.
However, Noah, on the other hand, was having a rough time as he only focused on mana manipulation and not on the power because of how 'Neutron' didn't need strength, to begin with.
If it were his muscles, it'd be fine, but his mana is another topic. He didn't get the term 'power' really well with mana as mana itself is already powerful. Does he mean the quantity?
"Let's try it." — Noah thought.
Noah used his mana to lift the stone, he took a peek at Princess Mysty's blade as he used his powers to scan the object with the use of Astral Projection.
Time slowed down for him as he memorized every information in the room. He looked at the blade as it was blunt but clean, it was at least 36 inches long and 5 inches wide.
Noah used that information and used his mana to surround the stone he was carrying and tried to push down the stone and manipulate it like solid that suddenly turned to liquid.
The stone shaped shape as it took the form of the blade, yet, it was so far from Mysty's perfect blade. There was a little bump on the side and the edges were too blunt.
It was actually good for his first time.
He handed it to Professor Ronson and he looked at the work Noah made.
"Have you ever made a weapon before?"
"None."
Professor Ronson's eyes opened wide as the words Noah gave off was enough to make him amazed.
"Something like this shouldn't be the first time. Yes, there might be a few mistakes but this is far from what I expected. This guy... is a genius!"
Professor Ronson mumbled as Noah just stood there patiently, waiting to hear if he can proceed to the next test. Ronson looked at the blade one more time and switched to Noah, yet he smirked once again.
"You pass."
Noah immediately walked towards the door, only to be stopped by Professor Ronson. He handed his sword to give it back to Noah.
"Don't leave this, it's also part of your last test."
Professor Ronson said as the door opened for the second test. Noah took the blade and did not hesitate and walked towards the last test, then the door closed.
Meanwhile, Mysty passed her sword as she asked the Professor a question.
"Did that boy just copy my blade?"
Mysty asked as Professor Ronson looked at her blade. He was shocked to see that the measurement was exactly the same, although the edge was flatter and there were no bumps. Other than that, it is exactly the same!
Ronson turned his eyes towards Mysty, who was also waiting patiently for the professor's answer. He coughed and answered honestly, "Yeah, the measurements are exactly the same."
Mysty just looked at the door as it opened.
"You are free to go if you want."
Professor Ronson said as Mysty walked towards the door for the last test. Her hidden curiosity for Noah grew larger than before.
While the others were having a hard time, especially Vasco, as he tried to pass a blade that looks nothing like one, he was scolded to do it one more time.
Vasco and the other's forging skills were like heaven and earth from Noah and Mysty's skill.
"A child like that... this is the first time I've seen one."
Meanwhile, in the third test. Hundreds of tables were prepared with tools that were similar to drills and hammers was put, Noah and Mysty were greeted by a woman that looked like she was into torture, as there was a whip in her waist hanging.
"That was fast. Did that Ronson make the test too easy?"
Professor Amanda said with her hands in her hips, looking like a delinquent you see at the side of the street.
"No, that's impossible. Come here kids, choose a table of your choosing."
Professor Amanda said as she opened her arms towards the tables as Noah immediately walked towards one table. Not long after, Mysty sat at the table beside Noah's.
Of course, Noah has been suspicious of the woman since he entered the third test. She's been staring at him an even sitting beside him when there are lots of tables to sit.
Noah just brushed it off and placed his blade on the table. There were a lot of tools in the table and Noah was familiar with most of them. There was a book about blacksmithing for beginners, so he was expecting something like this to happen.
Tools made from mana cores to make other tools. Tools that looked like a pencil for giving off details, from tools that sharpen the edges of a blade. There were lots of them and he has lots of options.
