Ryse walked outside of the dome and saw his ride. A black and red car with an AI standing besides it.
"Where would you like to go first sir?" The AI that resembled every bit of humans bowed his head slightly. Ryse had never gotten used to this weird driver of his.
"To the health center in A-Block" Ryse replied as the AI opened the door of the vehicle for him.
"Understood sir" The AI walked to the driver seat and started the car, Instantly taking off onto the highway.
Ten minutes later the car stopped outside the health center. The health center was a tower like building it's surface was always smooth and shiny in the light rays. Ryse climbed out of the car and walked into the health center. The AI assistant on his wrist changed back to it's doll form and floated besides him.
Ryse stood in front of the counter and placed his hand fingers spread on the panel. The robotic voice confirmed his identity and directly opened the Private Elevator. Ryse entered the elevator the metal doll following him in. The elevator doors closed and it started to move up.
The numbers on the elevator panel kept glowing one after the other and the final number displayed was 40. The elevator stopped on the fortieth floor, Ryse walked out sighing as he rubbed his forehead lightly. He entered the silver metal like door and fell onto the white medical bed.
"Back so soon?"
Hearing the voice Ryse glanced at the AI that behaved way too much like a human to even be considered an AI.
"Yes, After all I do need your help" Said Ryse sarcastically. He really didn't like this AI assigned to him as his health carer .
"I see you aren't dead yet, Too bad" Snorted the AI throwing him a stinking look.
See?, This was why Ryse didn't like him. This AI was just constantly waiting for him to die. He was sure the first idiotic one to be happy and dance all night over his death would be this guy.
Ryse silently glared at the AI. The AI clicked it's tongue and rolled it's eyes at him.
"So, My oh so lovely patient, What is the problem with you this time?"
Ryse rolled his eyes at the AI's form of address "My sweet Doctor Intra do tell me..." Ryse spoke sarcastically again," if I hear voices am I considered schizophrenic?" .
"That depends my lovely patient, On what kind of voices do you even hear?" Intra The AI doctor flipped open his notepad and stared at Ryse seriously.
"What kind of voices..." Ryse mumbled in thought.
"My oh so lovely patient, The kinds of voices that whisper and manipulate you into doing things and causing you psychological harm" Said Intra fixing his thin gold rimmed glasses on the bridge of his nose.
"No the voices don't whisper to get me to do things..." Explained Ryse.
Intra rolled his eyes dramatically "So, My oh so lovely patient, What kind of voices do you hear then?"
"I heard the voice saying 'Leave it to me' Before i fell unconscious." Ryse tilted his head looking at the AI with his two colored eyes.
"My oh so lovely patient, You are not schizophrenic.....Too bad i was hoping you were, Anyways from what i can analyze you lost soul shards and.....Did you collect one?" Intra inquired.
"Yes one soul shard that i found" Ryse answered.
"Then it might have been that soul shard that appeared because you have not fully absorbed it. I suggest you do to spare yourself from future troubles" Intra wrote something down on the notepad and handed him a glass of transparent liquid. "Drink this, Sleep and absorb the soul shard properly, My job here is done I hope to not see you again so soon at the least".
Ryse took the glass and threw a glance at Intra, He raised the glass and gulped it down in one breath within seconds he fell unconscious. The glass fell with a clang and so did Ryse.
Intra sighed and fixed his glasses that tilted again and walked over to Ryse. Intra bent down and picked up the fallen glass and placed it on the white side table. He then carried Ryse up and properly laid him on the bed.
"I really hope I don't see you hurt like last time" He muttered while worryingly scanning Ryse for any injuries from the fall just seconds ago.
The sleep lasted eight hours when Ryse awoke there was a tray of small dishes on the white side table. Intra was sitting on the white sofa sipping coffee, Ryse wondered how Intra can even drink coffee does it not cause problems in his system he is an AI after all.
"I see you finally decided to wake up my oh so lovely patient, Eat your fill and get lost don't appear for the next half a year" Intra lowered his cup and glanced at him nonchalantly " I have my life too, I need to do things as well other than tending to you all the freaking time".
Ryse rolled his eyes at intra," Yeah yeah let me eat in peace now". Picking up the tray of dishes Ryse started to eat ignoring the muttering of Intra on the side. He as well did not want to see this guy for the next half a year. Who would want to anyways.
Ryse kind of understood Intra's annoyance because for Ryse it had been a long time but for Intra it had only been two three hours before Ryse was back to his clinic again. Hence their slightly sarcastic and strange friendship. Ryse did not really hate Intra it is just that he found him just as annoying as Intra did to him.
After He was done eating he got up from the white medical bed and went out waving at Intra who only closed the door behind him with a bang. The metallic doll who had been hiding who knows where, Popped up from the side.
"Master, Intra really doesn't like you" It commented.
"Nor do I like him" Said Ryse.
The black and red car was still there when Ryse came out. Ryse wondered if this stupid driver of his had been standing here all this time.
"Sir i have not been standing here all the time I went to the coffee shop nearby" The AI said as it looked at him with annoyance.
It seems Ryse had said that out loud, oops. And since when did the AI's drink coffee.
"Head back to the apartment" Ryse patted the AI drivers shoulder and sat in the car.
"Understood sir"
The black and red car entered the highway again and drove towards the B-Block. The drive this time was one hour and ten minutes. A-Block is crowded all the time and it was also covering a large area anyways. Ryse entered the elevator and pressed the button to his floor. With a ding the elevator opened and Ryse walked out, He typed his security password and entered when the door opened.
"Welcome back master" Came the childish robotic voice.
"I'm back" Ryse smiled. Remembering the security password is easy because every time a transmigrator exits the world their memories of that time with become slightly faded and the actual memories of the island will become vivid again. As if they had only been out for an hour or two.
Ryse had already eaten so he went to bath and then entered his bed to be a lazy young master for the week of intermission time he has before he starts another mission. Even if Ryse wanted to collect the soul shards quicker, In this weeks time he won't be allowed to enter the portal at all. So instead of worrying it's better to just relax.
