The concerts ended and it was one in the early morning. The people were all tired and some were not. Some went back to their rooms to sleep and some wanted to explore the ship. Ryse was one of those who wanted to go back to sleep but his restlessness was becoming unbearable so he did the most reckless thing in his life he ever remembers doing
He secretly followed Reiner thinking of different ways he could grab the ring. As a person with ability Reiner was of course aware of being followed but he silently led the mouse into a trap.
The door closed with a click and Ryse was still dumbfounded.
"So care to explain why has the little beautiful idol decided to follow me?" Reiner teased.
" I....I-" Ryse had no excuse how was he to tell this man that he wanted to steal his ring?.
"I think I know" He heard the man say, "You wish to spend the night with me"
"What!? NO!!" He felt his face heat up in embarrassment.
"Why else would you follow me this at this hour then?" Reiner whispered leaning close.
"That's not-"
"Micah! Micah!"
He heard the familiar voice shouting outside the door. Reiner straightened up with a smile "I don't mind spending the night with such a pretty little thing. But your friends seem to be looking for you. Hmm What to do?"
Ryse flushed at the mention of spending the night and felt this man was too shameless! he doesn't like him! QAQ. He glanced at the ring that was in reach but also seemed far away and hesitated.
"You want this?" He heard the voice from above and looked up flinching back. Reiner chuckled leaning down and trapping him by the door. " You want this ring?" He asked again.
"Yes" Ryse spoke before he could think.
Reiner hummed " I will give you this ring if you promise me something" He said.
Ryse thought and thought and finally decided that it sounded reasonable " Okay" He answered.
"You must meet with me once a week and you have to give me your phone number" Reiner placed his demands seriously hiding his thoughts deep in his mind.
"Eh?" Ryse blinked he does not want to keep contact with this guy! QAQ no!.
"Micah! Where did he go?" The voices from outside walked away still calling his name occasionally.
"Hurry up your friends are leaving" Reiner whispered placing his head on Ryse's shoulder with a hidden strange smile.
With a breath Ryse spoke his number and watched as Reiner straightened up typing his number with a strange accuracy after only hearing it once. He felt his lip twitch, He really wanted to grab that phone and break it.
Reiner took his hand and placed the ring on his finger his expression was blank and Ryse could not see any emotions. ' This man is dangerous ' He thought, He did not find that even when he thought of him as dangerous and thought of not wanting to be around this man he was still here and felt quiet relaxed on top of it all.
The ring heated up but it did not burn, Ryse felt a strange energy pouring inside him and his mind that buzzed with soft whispery voices became quite. Ryse for the first time suspected that this world might actually be supernatural!.
A warm hand pated his head softly and suddenly he was outside. With a dumbfounded expression he looked back and only saw the closed door with a number 0183. Eh? Wasn't his room number 0182? This guy was his neighbor?.
"Micah there you are!"
He turned to see Andre, Alan and Victor along with Angeline. He remembered what Reiner had called them ' Your friends' He smiled 'Friends....I guess' He walked over to them.
"Hey I didn't know you would be here as well" He said with a soft smile.
"Of course I got us all a ticket when i heard you would go" Andre spoke touching his silver rimmed glasses.
Alan rolled his eyes from the back and Victor coughed with narrowed eyes giving Andre a pointed look.
"Excuse me? You did not help us get a ticket we were also invited after all we still have a high enough class to be invited humph!"
Ryse chuckled, Hearing him the three smiled. Angeline tilted her head with an imperceptible smile.
The atmosphere was broken with a shrill scream coming from the next corridor. The group of four immediately became serious.
"Something's happened" Alan spoke taking the lead in front. Ryse heard him and followed the four to the next corridor. A woman sat on the ground screaming and crying her eyes were stuck inside the door that was wide open. More and more people came hearing her scream and gasped as they looked in. A few even turned pale and retched at the side.
The five looked in and Ryse grimaced lightly The entire room was bloody and different body parts scattered every where the bed sheets were on the floor the glass ornaments were shattered and scattered all over the room a perfectly strong table was split in pieces. What no one except Ryse noticed was a young man floating a few centimeters above the floor looking straight at him with an expressionless face. Ryse suddenly turned pale and stumbled backwards until he hit someone and was caught before he fell.
From the corner of his eyes he saw the a little girl looking into the room with her head tilted. She was the girl he saw in his dream her dress was ripped and bloody her dark hair also had a faint red tint. Ryse almost stopped breathing when the girl turned around and smiled at him pointing inside.
Ryse did not know where his courage came out of he looked at the girl straight as she said some words and pointed in again. Ryse swallowed as he followed her finger and looked in again. There something extra in there A black swirling mist very faint and scattered. He had thought those were the shadows created because of the light.
"Out of the way out of way!" Yelled a crew member as he ran over. The host of the party came from behind him with a group high ranking people. Seeing the scene inside The host became serious turning he addressed the people who were gathered around with pale faces.
"I apologize but the return will have to delayed, I believe the culprit is still among us" When the people starting protesting he became angry "Quiet all of you! I have decided so it will as I decided The Police on board will conduct an investigation!"
"Police?" Someone voiced out.
"Yes I had also invited several officers before the ship sailed" The host Mr. Garner said, As a group of men walked out of the crowd and showed their proof of being a police officer, The people calmed down when they saw there were many police officers.
"Are you okay?" Hearing the voice Ryse suddenly realized that he was still being supported, He looked up to find Reiner and unconsciously relaxed.
