The journey was complicated. Since they had so many King Rank Bisharp with them, they were rarely attacked by any Pokemon. But the stress of it was driving Axel mad. Axel could not help himself. He had been on his deathbed just not long before. The journey to the previous Bisharp tribe didn't worry Axel very much.
He had made the journey a couple of times, and he knew the terrain well enough. But after that, he had to plan for every moment. He had gotten details of the tribe area they would cross from merchant Machamp.
The information had cost him a hefty price, but he believed that it was worth it. The first Pokemon that attacked them was a group of Magmortar. Seeing the Pokemon species that destroyed their tribe, the king-ranked Bisharp were ready to beat them into submission. There were 4 pseudo-king rank Magmortar and one king rank Magmortar.
Axel told the king rank Bisharp to handle them, but he also told Lucario to handle two of the pseudo-king rank Pokemon.
This was putting a lot of pressure on Lucario, but Axel knew that it needed battle experience to deal with multiple Pokemon, too. Lucario was in early pseudo-king rank. It still needed some time to reach king rank. But that didn't mean that it was weak.
Since it had been trained under a god rank Pokemon, its move mastery was on a higher side. It had also learned two new moves. One of them was a self-created move of the god rank Lucario.

There were a lot of changes in its stats. Its health had increased to a respectable 8000, which was a lot for a pseudo-king rank Pokemon. Even though its stats had yet to reach king rank, its move mastery far exceeded his expectations. It had also learned two new moves, and one of them was a passive move.
The passive move was one that the god rank Lucario had taught it.

(Level 50): The user can create a single large rotating aura sphere which has higher destructive power.
Thunder punch (Lucario) (Level 40): The user can use two hands to use the move repeatedly. Will consumed a lot of stamina.
(Level 45): The chances of paralysis has increased.
Sword Aura (Lucario) (Level 40): The user can create a sword made of aura to attack. Consumes a massive amount of stamina and energy to summon and maintain it.
(Level 45): The energy consumption has decreased.
Drain Punch (Lucario) (Level 40): The move is faster than before and it would recover 20% of the total damage caused. The moves uses a lot of stamina.
(Level 45): The user can use two hands to use the move. The move has become faster.

Even though none of the moves had reached level 60 and above, with only two moves which had reached level 50, the quality of the changes was very different than he had expected.
Most of these move upgrades were done when it had trained under the god rank Lucario. Each of the upgrades was monumental, and all of these upgrades clearly showed that it was a speed type physical attacker.
For example, let's take an example of 'Detect' and 'Aura sense'. These two moves were the ones that it had trained the most. This was basically done to improve its battle sensitivity and fundamentals.
While 'Detect', helped it to detect movements, 'Aura sense' helped it to detect the aura of living life forms. Both of them were similar, but they were inherently different.
Now, it had the ability to passively use both of those moves, which were extremely game-changing. Imagine if it were sparring with another Pokemon. It didn't have to use these moves actively.
It could detect the enemy movement and aura passively too, which was way faster than using it consciously. This was like observation haki in the one piece world. Of course, its reaction was not too fast to dodge all the moves if the attacker's attack was very fast.
But with a proper development of these moves, it would basically be untouchable. Moves like 'Vacuum wave' and 'Bullet punch' clearly showed that it had focused more on speed and destructive power.
This might not mean much theoretically, but since it was clearly training on its speed and physical power, and with its other enhancement, the resulting synergy was far greater than Axel had expected.
When it fought with a pseudo-king rank Primeape and instantly defeated it even though the stats of that Primeape were higher, Axel realized that he had made a critical mistake in training his Pokemon.
Most of these changes were made when it was training with the god rank Lucario, and the move upgrades were in a different direction than what Axel had normally done.
While Axel wanted his Pokemon to have a different ability or function with every upgrade of the move, Lucario concentrated on a single direction, which was improving the move's speed and destructiveness.
The result?
Lucario was far better than what it would have if it had trained under it. This raised a lot of questions for Axel. He didn't believe that he would learn a new thing after years of experience, but this was quite a shocker to him.
It had also learned two new moves and one of them was a passive move.

Both of these moves were at initial stages, but their potential was far greater. One of the things that interested him was that both of these moves would complement each other in the future.
Both of them were like cultivation moves. One would help it slowly refine aura inside its body, making it faster and more powerful as time went on and another would help it store aura inside its body and slowly refine it.
Currently, these moves haven't had much of an impact as both of them were in initial stages. But he knew that the potential of Lucario would increase with these moves.
Finally, it was time to see the second stage of 'Aeus energy'.
