To be blunt, China is pretty weak in terms of winning Nobel Prizes. In recent years, the number of Chinese people who have won a Nobel Prize can be counted on one hand, and many of them are actually of Chinese descent.
Since the Nobel Prize Committee has nominated her, even though the Ancestor herself finds it boring, she can't resist the little friends in China who adore her so much! These little friends are even more excited than she is.
If they are looking forward to it, then there's no harm in her going.
If the Ancestor is going to go, it certainly has to be a big deal.
