Ada looked at her expression and felt uncomfortable. He tried to persuade her:
"Jason is clearly stalling on purpose. He's never going to avenge Yuri. Natasha, our team still has an open spot. You could disband your team and join us!"
He clenched his fist and lowered his voice, "Stop seeking revenge. Leaving him here is already the best revenge."
Natasha felt a pang of bitterness in her heart.
She understood what Ada meant and knew he was saying it for her good. In the competition zone, human life was worth nothing. Many people who had only known each other for a few months ended up dying tragic deaths. Friends, camaraderie—none of it mattered. Everyone had only one goal, one singular goal: to leave this place.
Perhaps she was the only one still thinking about Yuri.
