Su's mom was left speechless by her daughter's comment.
"You only walked him to the elevator???" Su's mom glared at Su Man with a look of exasperated disappointment. "Do you even realize, if it weren't for him stepping in, your dad might not have made it today!"
Su's dad awkwardly said, "But I'm alive now…"
Su's mom turned to glare at him. "So being saved means we don't have to show gratitude?!"
Su's dad murmured softly, "That's not what I meant…"
"This child's behavior is all because you spoiled her! She's so careless with basic manners!" Su's mom criticized harshly.
Su Man, used to being scolded, picked at her ear and said, "But he said there was no need to walk him further…"
Su's mom snapped, "That was just polite talk!"
Fed up, Su Man raised her voice. "Alright! I get it! Next time, even if he says I don't have to walk him, I will insist on walking him downstairs, all the way to his front door. Would that be enough?"
