Today was our Givenchy photoshoot, and all of us were beyond excited.I mean, who wouldn't be excited about being chosen as a Brand Ambassador for Givenchy? This was our very first luxury brand photoshoot since debut. I really hope all the MYs enjoy and love the final results.
"Hello MYs, Giselle here~ Today, we're having our first photoshoot with Givenchy since being chosen as their brand ambassadors. Thank you so much for choosing us, Givenchy-nim," Giselle said cheerfully to the camera.
"I really love this dress. It looks so elegant," I said while adjusting it.
"I agree. It looks so good on you," Winter replied.
"Where's NingNing?" I asked.
"I think she's still in the makeup room," Giselle answered.
We were chatting about our outfits when NingNing finally appeared in front of the camera.
"Ayy, our baby is here~" I said.
"Hello everyone! This is my performance for today's photoshoot," NingNing said brightly.
"I think we should end this vlog here. It's our turn now. Bye~" Winter added.
"Good job, everyone. Thank you so much for today!" I said to the staff and crew.
Our next schedule was filming Knowing Bros. It was our first time being invited to a variety show, and I had been nervous the entire ride to the filming location. It's one of my favorite shows to watch with my family ever since it first aired.
Calm down, Karina. You can do this.
The shoot turned out to be really fun, and I genuinely enjoyed every moment. I hope we'll get invited again someday. After filming, we headed back to our dorm to wrap up the day.
"What should we eat?" Winter asked.
"I don't know. Any suggestions?" I replied.
"How about hotpot? It's a little windy today," NingNing suggested.
"Sure, I don't mind," Giselle and Winter said in unison.
Not long after that conversation, I drifted off into dreamland.
"Karina, wake up," Giselle said, gently shaking me.
"Where are we?" I asked sleepily.
"We're still on the way to the restaurant," NingNing replied.
"How much longer until we arrive? I'm hungry~" I whined.
"Ten more minutes," Winter said.
Finally, I could recharge my energy with some delicious hotpot. Winter and I found a table while NingNing and Giselle ordered the food.
"Let me help you," I said when I saw NingNing struggling with all the ingredients.
"잘 먹겠습니다," we said together—enjoy your meal. And of course, we truly did. The hotpot looked and tasted amazing.Did MYs eat their lunch already? I hope you did.
We come to this restaurant quite often since it's close to our dorm, but the hotpot never gets old.
"Do you want some dessert?" our manager, Heejin eonnie, asked.
"Sure! Can I have mango pudding?" I said.
"Vanilla ice cream for me," Winter added.
"I'll have the same as Karina," Giselle said.
"Green tea ice cream for me," NingNing followed.
"Okay, I'll be back in ten minutes," Heejin eonnie said.
I excused myself to go to the bathroom.
"Karina eonnie, wait for me!" Winter said as she followed.
"Eonnie, do you think the company will ever let us take a break? Like visiting our families or going on a vacation together?" Winter asked.
A trip… It had been so long since I last traveled, even before trainee days.
"I don't know, Mindungie. I feel the same way, but we just debuted last year. There's no way we'll get a break anytime soon," I replied.
"Yeah, you're right… But what if someday we can go on a trip together? Where would you want to go?" she asked.
"Croatia, I guess. It's been on my list for a long time. What about you?" I said.
"I don't know. I'll just follow everyone—as long as there's an amusement park," Winter said.
I chuckled at her answer.
We returned to the table just in time for dessert.
"Girls, go wait in the van. I'll pay for lunch," Heejin eonnie said.
"What are we doing tonight?" Giselle asked.
"How about movie night? It's been a while since we had free time," Winter suggested.
"I'm okay with that. Do we still have popcorn at the dorm?" I asked.
"I don't think so," Giselle replied.
"Giselle, can you come with me to the minimarket later?" I asked.
"Sure."
"Heejin eonnie, can you drive us to a minimarket for a bit? I need to buy something," I said.
"Sure," she replied.
Giselle and I got out of the van and headed to the minimarket while the others waited inside.
"I'll check the first aisle. I need to buy something," Giselle said.
"Okay, I'll go to the snacks aisle," I replied.
I grabbed a cart and started picking our favorite snacks and drinks for movie night. I was halfway done when my phone rang.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Are you done yet? Heejin eonnie just texted us and said we need to hurry. Something bad happened," Giselle said.
"I'm at the popcorn aisle. Do you want butter, cheese, or caramel?" I asked.
"Just buy all of them. Don't forget drinks and snacks," she replied.
"Okay, I'll meet you at the cashier."
As I hung up, worry crept into my mind. Something bad happened?I hoped it wasn't related to our performance.
"Your total is $35.15," the cashier said. I paid with my phone.
"Why did you pay? It was my turn," Giselle complained.
"Next time. We need to hurry—Heejin eonnie and the others are waiting," I said.
Once we got back to the van, Giselle turned to our manager.
"Heejin eonnie… what news did you want to tell us?"
