The collision threw them apart, but that was only the start.
Feng Luotian summoned Nightspark and lashed the light blade upon Sparrow Lord. The latter vanished and appeared behind him only to meet with the dark sword stabbing right at his eye.
However, Sparrow Lord did not flee from the unexpected blade. Instead, he only tilted his head to the left and let the dark edge brush past his ear, then drove a palm strike toward the center of Luotian's back.
Sensing the danger, Luotian flapped his wings and twisted his entire figure to dodge the attack. While he was at it, his legs hooked around the striking arm, catching it between them. Poison Sinseeker then appeared directly in front of Sparrow Lord's face, ready to force another retreat.
Ever since Luotian revealed the three fine bronze arrows, although Sparrow Lord dared to take fire and wood shots from time to time, he would desperately dodge the poison at all cost.
