After parting from Tu Lingxi, He Chen took around two minutes to reach his master's quarters. He had come hoping to find him safe. Instead, he found his master pinned to the wall by a spear.
The youth tormenting him was Speed Star, Sikong Jiu. He now had a new metal arm and a cultivation of One Talon, and five Talon Realm underlings stood around him. He Chen had arrived at the place he most wanted to protect, only to find the attackers already there.
He Chen's master was an outer elder of the Peacock School, meaning that he had the right to take in disciples and the authority to issue tasks and missions to those within his ranks.
The only difference between outer and inner elders was their cultivations. Talon Warriors would be outer elders while a Wing Master would be inner.
Outer elders of the Peacock School consisted of both Mei Clan's members and the holders of other bloodlines, but inner elders only included Mei Clan's current elders.
