Here's some background on this world of mine more specifically the continent of Marevia, once a world of barbaric nature, mankind eventually came together and created kingdoms and empires, throughout time the evils of man had shown, wars started, empire rose and crumbled.
Of all these wars the most influential one was The Great Demon War, known for its cruelty and chaos, but out of all the Genocide a group of people rose up to bring its' end. They became known as the Apostles, all bearing insanely high levels of mana. Mana level you ask? Mana is the great equalizer; strong enough to bring giants to their knees, yet soft enough to blow a gentle breeze of healing throughout. It is the main power source of all people, in essence it is life itself we all are born with mana, and when we die; all return to the mana. A persons' innate mana level dictates how easily one can manipulate mana and/or how well they can sense it, this level is gauged right after awakening or right before proper training. Often mistaken for the current mana level, which dictates how much mana one can hold in their bodies. How people manipulate mana depends on them some use it on themselves, some emit it, some explode it, some mend with it, the only limit is your mind and your ability, but the people of the world have yet to learn this.
And in this crazy world there I am standing next to the most influential men in this world but out of all of the people in this room one is more important than all of them combined. This man can lead this world to the great height of prosperity or the great darkness of destruction in a matter of days. This man is no one other than ME, a young man age 26, without a single gray hair on my head, and a humble background.
Now you may be wondering how such a dashing man, with 6 foot 4 inches in height, without any particular background of prosperity or greatness, rose to the top of society with a group of rag tags and misfits. If you are wondering, then today is your lucky day because this is our adventurous rise to the top.
