Hearing Sanada's advice, Satou returns and takes a seat again.
"Are you all right, Satou? The meal is here!"
She said. He just blinks for realizing it, He was too busy to find the conservation topic.
"Ah, I see."
When the meal finally comes, She looks so happy that she digs her meal delightfully. Meanwhile, he just remains silent as if he is considering something that makes the girl before him wonder and confused.
"Satou, you don't eat?"
"Ah… It's... I am having something on my mind. Sorry."
"What is it? You barely touch your food."
"Actually, I just wonder what is you live your life for? I mean, do you have a dream or something like that?"
His question makes her remain silent that she stops having her meal. She stares at him. Before even responding to him with a serious gaze from her eyes.
"I want to protect the Yggdrasil."
"Protecting Yggdrasil, eh? In the end, you have no difference to Tanaka, eh?"
"Did you mean Sanada san?"
She tilts her head as she is confused why he calls Sanada Tanaka.
"Tanaka has a dream to protect this country to stay standing up. Then you want to protect Yggdrasil so the world will be safe and sound, eh? Actually, I envy you guys."
He smiles bitterly in vexation.
"Why do you envy us? It's me who is supposed to envy you. You can live normally like the other people."
"What do you mean?"
"What I know about this life is my job is to protect the Yggdrasil, besides that, I have no idea what do I live for."
She answered putting the look like he has, a bitter smile.
Meanwhile, we can see Sanada is discussing with Stephen and Charlee.
"Anyone sees Yggdrasil will be bestowed upon miracle."
Stephen Smith said.
"Is that why it's called the magic tree, eh? Are the power of Yumeno Shion and Isshin Kira one of the magic bestowed by this Yggdrasil?"
Sanada raises one of his eyebrows unable to believe the response he gets is just an assuring nod from Stephen Smith.
"Exactly! They were bestowed upon miracle from the Yggdrasil, then we forced them to stay in the WTM so the power wouldn't fall on the wrong side."
The answer from Stephen Smith makes Sanada enraged. You can see that from his face.
"If everyone sees Yggdrasil, won't that be dangerous? Everyone will have powers, won't they?"
The question is got interrupted by Charlee. She is about to answer his question.
"I did see Yggdrasil, but I didn't get any power though."
Obviously, this confuses Sanada, as the answer from Charlee breaks the theory he got.
"What do you mean?"
This time, Stephen Smith is about to answer the question.
"In the other words, Yggdrasil chooses the ones who deserve it."
Sanada then recalls the strange on Satou. His friend who can detect danger from afar with his instinct, strange dreams coming about Yggdrasil, and that gut can break the kekkai of Yawata no Yabushirazu.
"Able to detect a sniper from afar even the sudden danger is not normal. If that did happen, does Satou have something to do with WTM before?"
The question makes Stephen Smith remain silent, he doesn't say a thing and that makes Sanada gives a cold gaze at his boos, then he asks them something he wants to know from them.
"Then, why does he always dream about Charlee san? Is it because…"

"Really? In the Yggdrasil is just as sucks as rating up gacha, right? It's because you are lucky to get the miracle or whatsoever."
Satou said can't believe what she just told him.
"Gacha? What is that?"
"A kind of game depending on luck to win."
"I am not quite sure, but I just want a normal life, even just for one. Just like dating."
She said.
"Just give up. Dating is not as beautiful as you think."
"You were cheated on, Satou?"
"How did you know that?!"
"You told me yourself."
"Was that when I was drunk? I told you, I can't remember anything when I am drunk."
"How does getting drunk feel like?"
She asked intrigued by it. Hearing that, he smiles and answers it.
"It feels great. It's like the stress goes away. What I feel is just calm."
"Then, may I?"
"How old are you?
"18…"
"No! You are still minor!"
"How about dating."
"Just give it up."
"Why?!"
He lets out a sigh and says,
"Before you start dating, you'd better just befriend your partner. Once you get to know each other and you feel comfy when you are together, which is love. Then you are good to go!"
"It sounds like you know well about this stuff, eh?"
"It's not a competition! It's essential! Even your parents must have started it by dating."
Satou exclaimed.
"Really? I dunno about that."
"Eh, seriously?"
"Umm… I can't remember how my parents look like. What I know is I ended up in WTM. Since I gained this power, then I have to protect Yggdrasil."
She answered that he remains silent.
'Did WTM brainwash her? They will do anything just for protecting Yggdrasil, eh?'
He said in his mind.
"What's the matter, Satou?"
"Then, it's settled! I will teach you how to make friends!."
"You will?"
"Of course! But, first of all, will you be my friend?"
He gives her his hand.
"I still don't understand, but, if this way can make me know about making friends, then with pleasure!"
She smiles at him taking his hand.
"My name is Satou Hideaki and from now on, I am your friend!"
He smiles at her.
'Right. This is the only thing I can do; to prevent her from the wrong path. I am not naïve that I make her leave WTM. Not to mention that WTM must have their own agenda.'
He said in his mind.
"By the way, Satou, you don't eat that? You ordered that, remember?"
She said. He then realizes that her meal has gone.
"Ah right. Bon appetite!"
Finally, he enjoys and digs in. After digging in, he pays for the meal and treats her though she tried to yet he refuses. He tells her that it's his treat.
"Yume, I'll hit the ATM for a moment."
"I am coming!"
He is surprised as this time she didn't complain about how he called her. He then answers.
"It won't take long. Just wait for me here."
"But, Satou wasted more money for treating me! At least let me keep you company!"
He sighs and says,
"Very well."
Finally, the duo goes to the bank and he feels lucky as no line on the ATM. Withdrawing some money, a bunch of robbers comes out of the blue.
"Freeze or we'll kill you! Hand over all of the money this bank has!"
Said one of them. Everyone, but Yumeno and Satou just shudder in fright and follow what they say.
"Seriously? Good grief I've withdrawn some."
He said in relief.
"But, we can't just stay still letting them do what they want!"
She said putting on a serious face and she looks upset seeing them intimidating the people around. She feels to want to punish them for their vile deeds to the innocents.
"What are you gonna do?!"
Satou exclaimed tugging her hand trying to hold her before she does something reckless.
"Let me give them some lessons!"
"Then, leave it to me!"
"I don't want you to get hurt!"
"Neither do I!"
While the duo is quarreling, the robbers see them and they approach the duo.
"Just freeze or I'll shoot!"
One of them threatened the duo, yet Satou and Yumeno ignore them.
"Why don't you understand?! They are dangerous and they are armed! So it's better if I just stop them!"
"You idiot! Have you ever watched movies?! This situation suits for a man to protect his woman! So, just leave them to me!"
"Me!"
"Me!"
One of the robbers who sees the duo gets upset for being ignored and yelled at.
"Why don't you just do it together?! Isn't that better?!"
Hearing that, the duo nods to each other, and they are beating up the robbers altogether.
"Thanks for the suggestion!"
Because of what the duo did, the robbers are ambushing the duo.
"Didn't expect that working together is the best choice."
He smirked.
"Actually this is my first time working together with someone."
She said.
'Why did you say it as if your virginity got lost by someone?!'
He said in his mind. He then swiftly moves bringing her body to avoid the crossfire from above. It's a marksman with an AK-47.
"I didn't expect that there was a marksman from above!"
She said with her body got pinned down by Satou.
"Yume! On my signal, dodge!"
He said still pinning her down while she just nods. Later, Satou says the signal, and the duo gets up to avoid the crossfire.
The marksman looks confused as he was sure he aimed the duo perfectly.
"Yume! Do you can attack the marksmen before us and over us quickly? I get busy here as they ambush us."
"Leave it to me!"
She releases her wind power then cracks the floor with it that the marksmen fall to the floor while screaming in terror.
"As expected for the one with power~"
Saying that, Satou beats up the robbers before him that they get thrown away, but there are more coming at him from behind. And they are thrown away by the gale shot by her.
"Probably if you were not here, I would get shot."
"That's my line."
Fixing their stances, the duo is ready to face those robbers. But of course, the robbers lose and end up getting arrested by the police.
Because of the broken floor caused by Yumeno, the mass becomes wonder and asked her what caused it.
"Did they break the floor on the 2nd floor?"
"Did you beat them up?"
The reports keep giving her questions that she has no idea what to say. Satou who sees that swiftly pulls her hand and takes her away from the journalist pursuing her.
The time is just right, they see Sanada who is about to pick them up from the mayhem. The duo then gets in the car and lets out a sigh, especially Satou.
"As you were on TV, I took the initiative to pick you up."
Sanada said driving.
"Didn't expect that we would encounter the robbery though."
Satou sighed.
"I'm sorry. If only I didn't break the floor, that might not have happened."
"Thanks for that, you saved my life! Don't blame yourself!"
Satou consoled her so she would stop blaming herself for what she did. That makes Sanada chuckle.
"What's so funny, Tanaka?!"
"It's just funny to hear those words coming from your mouth. Hahaha."
"Shut the fuck up! That's not funny at all!"
Satou is upset to hear such a response from chuckling Sanada.
Without realizing it, it's getting night, and Sanada takes the duo to the WTM's base. Sanada thought that Stephen won't give Yumeno an earful, but he is wrong.
In the end, Satou has to soothe Stephen's wrath up and tell the mess that the broken floor was caused by the robbers.
Because of what he has done today, she feels guilty as she thinks that she has given so many troubles to him. She then takes him to the room, and Sanada who always takes Satou to his room ignores it as he doesn't want to break the atmosphere.
"Sorry for the trouble, Satou."
She bowed to show her regret.
"Don't mind!"
He said casually.
"We are here. Good night, Satou."
"Good night too, Yume!"
She nods and leaves him alone. Seeing her off, he enters his room.
"She doesn't complain about 'Yume', eh? It feels boring, but whatever."
With his whole body been sluggish, he then sleeps to rest his body after so many events happened today.

As Satou is frightened as it's his first time to see the monster, the twin-tail girl decides to be a decoy so he will have a chance to escape. He becomes hating himself as what he can only do is run and let her sacrifice herself just for his sake.
In the end, he is brought to the hospital by a mysterious organization. They said to leave the twin-tailed girl to them.
But, Satou can't just let that happen. He feels the responsibility for everything that happened back then. Then he rushes to the forbidden forest to save the twin-tailed girl.
Satou will feel lucky if she is alive, but he has to fight against the monster. If he doesn't fight, then she will be injured badly.
Satou used to learn martial arts as he loves fighting, but one day he resigned as he couldn't encounter a worthy sparring partner.
Because of the encounter with the monster, he finds a reason to fight. He wants to protect something.
Though it would put his life on the line, He just won't give up.
"That's right, I should have…"
Then, Satou is awake. He hears a voice calling him and when he opens his eyes, he can see that it's Kayoona Charlee. She woke him up from his deep sleep and that irritates him.
"I am sorry for waking you up, but there is something urgent that Stephen Smith asked me to summon you."
She said.
"Ah… I see."
"What's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?"
"Like always, I had a nightmare. Yup, that's it."
"If you are ok, then it's enough."
Satou then follows her to where Stephen Smith and the WTM armies having a conference. This obviously startles him as the atmosphere is getting tense.
"What is happening?!"
He asked seeing the conference held here.
"You'll see."
She said.
He looks confused, but he doesn't ask her anything as he thinks she would say the same. What he has to do now is just listen to them till he gets it.
"Isshin Kira has made a move by spreading Yggdrasil to the mass. And it successfully made everyone frightened in terror."
What Stephen Smith said made them silent, including Sanada.
"Therefore, the government is cornered by the press coming at them! In the end, they commanded us, to destroy Isshin Kira right now! The military will assist us in this operation. This time, we have to destroy him!"
The WTM armies are crying over the plan.
"It is a nightmare."
Satou sighed putting a terrified look on his face.
"Too bad it's not. In the end, WTM must be ready to face this worst scenario!"
Sanada said shaking his head while staring at Satou with a dead serious gaze.
In the end, Stephen Smith makes Yumeno the key to defeating Isshin Kira, while he asks Satou and Sanada to stay.
"I refuse!!"
Satou exclaimed.
"Can't you just take a hint?! This is not your problem, it's a war!"
Stephen Smith exclaimed to Satou who refused his order.
"He's right, Satou! Leave this to me!"
Yumeno said persuading him.
"Do you think she can take the responsibility on the war this great? Of course, not! Though she is 18, she still has no idea how cruel this world is! It's because you've taken her freedom!"
Satou lets out a sigh and says,
"I understand that I can't make her live a normal life for Yggdrasil's important role in this world! Therefore, there's only one thing I can do, let me take a part in this operation. I will never let her lose that easily!"
His statement shuts Stephen Smith and the others up. Kayonna Charlee is surprised and Sanada wipes his tears for being proud of what Satou just said.
"Finally You have moved on, my best friend!"
Sanada said to his best friend.
"Huh?! What?! You just stay silent there, say something!"
Satou exclaimed.
"I get it, but I can't guarantee about your life, Satou Hideaki…"
"Who do you think I am?"
Yumeno pats Satou's shoulder and says.
"I didn't know that you would worry about me that much."
"Don't miss the offer! I rarely do this you know? Haha!"
"This is the first time I see someone worrying about me this much. I don't know what to say. But, at least, I would like to thank him and work with him!"
She said blushing.
Sanada just smiles looking Satou gets along well with her.

Because Isshin Kira has spread the secret about the world depends on Yggdrasil too much to the public, the more people join his faction just to fight the government and the WTM.
"Everything runs according to the plan. Now, you will understand the mistake to join the weaklings like them, Satou Hideaki!"
Isshin Kira laughs manically that it echoes.
There are so many citizens on strike about Isshin Kira who wants to break the heart of the world, Yggdrasil. But, some strike on how incompetent WTM is for not being able to solve their problem with Isshin. And, some strike on their disappointment to the government for keeping the secret of the Yggdrasil that might bring calamity.

Finally, the WTM armies are about to set out to invade Isshin Kira. Thanks to the military help, they could track where Isshin Kira's base is.
"Oi Satou! Catch!"
Sanada throws a small bag to Satou. Satou then catches it and he looks confused by seeing it.
"What is it?"
"Open it! Knowing that you have a good instinct, that might help you!"
As Sanada said that, with no hesitance, Satou opens that bag and he finds so many smoke bombs in it. He then puts on a smile.
"Thanks, Tanaka! You are always there to save my butt. If you were there, I wouldn't be here."
Satou said.
"What are you talking about? Isn't it normal for best friends to save each other's butt? Not to mention, you've helped me to be one of WTM armies kinda…! I would just take care of the base."
"Then, let's do our best, best friend!"
Satou offers him a fist bump.
"Yeah! Likewise, best friend!"
Sanada gives him a fist bump.
