"Report! The roots from Ichikawa city have spread wider!"
"They are coming to Ichihara city, Ciba right now!"
That's what the WTM personnel said via HT radio.
"Report! The monsters are proceeding to Ichihara city. They are on a rampage! Calling for backups!"
The radio goes noisy and it turns off.
"Tsk! It still keeps on, eh?"
Kayonna Charlee sighed.
"Then, what do we do? Should we summon Yumeno? "
"Don't. Her mental condition makes her unable to fight for now!"
"Then, what do we do? Isshin Kira is still in the hospital."
"Of course, we should summon him. The only one who can defeat those monsters is the key!"
Kayonna Charlee said.

In the morning, the beasty monsters are attacking the people in Ichihara city. There are a father and his daughter hiding from the monsters.
"Masami, listen to me well! After this, go away alone!"
His father told his daughter.
"Where are you going?"
"There is something I have to do."
"No! Don't leave me!"
"Don't worry, I'll be back! That's why, leave."
"I don't want to! I don't want you to leave me. Because… You are the only thing I have."
She whined.
"I promise I'll be back. So, please, listen to me."
After her father said that, he leaves his daughter.

Ryoichi Daisuke is seen oversee Ichihara city from afar.
"Oi! Michio! Are you there?! The monsters are invading the people of Ichihara city!"
Ryoichi said through the radio but the radio gets interrupted by the noise that it doesn't do well that he sighs.
"Dammit! You ought to save them immediately! Otherwise, it will end up more casualties."
Ryoichi said.

The father is heading to the monster as he will become the decoy so they won't get closer to his daughter.
"Where are you going?! Why are you coming to the monster?!"
The daughter does follow her father and the monsters are about to attack her.
"Crap—Stop!!!"
The father exclaimed.
The time then freezes out of the blue and as the monsters are about to attack her, the monster gets slashed by someone. It's a guy named Michio Takayuki. The monster moaned in pain after getting slashed.
"Goof grief I made it in time. But, don't worry, I'll protect all of you!"
Takayuki said as he gets ready to fight the monsters.
The monsters are charging Takayuki and he teleports to their back. Takayuki swiftly slashes them one by one.
"Both of you, leave! Leave these monsters to me!"
Takayuki told them.
"Can you kill them?"
Takayuki then smiles and answers,
"Of course! Just leave it to me!"
"I get it! Come on, Masami. Let's get outta here!"
The father then takes his daughter to go away, yet one monster is charging to the father. Realizing that, Takayuki then gets its way out of the blue.
"Your opponent is me!"
Takayuki slashes the monster and that makes the other charge to him, but before they do so, Takayuki has teleported to their back.
"It's over!"
Takayuki slashes the monsters around him and he successfully wiped them up. He then gets his HT radio.
"Finally it gets connected! We've got no time! Just proceed to the city! It's a mess in Ichihara!"
Ryoichi said through the radio.
"Roger! I'm coming!"
Takayuki answers rushing to the Ichihara. As he gets there, he finds the city gets devastated and so many casualties.
"Damn! I'm late! If only I could get earlier, I'd save all of them."
He then sees a golem attacking the survivors.
"Kyaaah!! Help me!!"
One woman yelled for help as she sees a golem has killed a man. Then, Takayuki swiftly slashes the golem's hand.
"Unforgivable!"
After seeing what just happened, the golem roars loud and it launches a fist at Takayuki with its only hand. But, the guy swiftly slashes the golem to pieces.
Because of that, Takayuki has got their attention and that makes him run away so the golems won't attack the people.
The monsters then attack Takayuki wildly and that makes him be beaten up by them, but they get hurled after he summons his short blade that is enveloped by greenish flame.
He then teleports to their back and swings his short blade.
"You have to pay for the lost lives with your lives!"
Takayuki wipes them up in no time. Seeing that no more monsters around, he lets out a sigh and the survivors come at him.
"Are you all right?!"
Takayuki asked.
"You were too late! Don't you know how many casualties were caused by the monsters?!"
"And why only you who came?!"
He just remains silent and feels regret after hearing their protest.
"Is the monster's invasion because of you?! Do you hate the city?!"
"No wonder you can defeat them, you were their ally, right?!"
They said.
The truth is, it's Satou Hideaki's doing.
That's why Takayuki just remains silent and lets them blame him even some throw a water bottle at him and water him.
"Leave!"
"Stay away from us!"
"More of them will come if you stay here!!"
They said.
Though they hate Takayuki.
"Seeing them all right is enough for me."
After saying that, he then leaves them, but he stops when he sees a girl coming at him. He remembers who she is, she is the girl he helped before.
"Thank you! Dad and I were saved because of you!"
The father then comes at him.
"Thank you very much! If you were there, probably my daughter had…"
Takayuki who hears them just smiles and leaves them.
After that, the news appears about the monsters in Ichihara city have been wiped out. But the citizens tell the media that the monsters came for Takayuki as he is the only one who can outmatch them.
Because of that, the mass questions what caused the monsters to come this time? Is the Yggdrasil still protected by the WTM well?
"What's with this rubbish anyway?! You have saved them as you could!"
Ryoichi argued.
"No problem. As long as they are unharmed, it's enough."
"But Takayuki. Your image will get wor-"
"No problem. On top of that, we'd better stay alert for what will happen next."
"That's right. Knowing that someone did mess with the Yggdrasil"
"Though I did stop them. The consequence from the Yggdrasil will occur."
Takayuki said.
Ryoichi then smiles and says.
"You've changed, Michio."
"Really? I thought I still remained bad as usual."
"Well, your negative-thinking habit is the only thing that doesn't change at all though."
Takayuki then gets ready to leave Ryoichi.
"Going home already?"
"yeah, otherwise, she would angry making me go home."
"Then, I bid you farewell, Michio. We'll see again!"
"Yeah!"
Takayuki then leaves Ryoichi.

It's been 3 days since Takayuki killed Satou Hideaki. He then explains what had happened there to Kayonna Charlee and as Isshin Kira is coma in the hospital, the WTM is being led by her for now.
Thanks to Takayuki for taking care of the mess caused by Satou, he has gained the trust of the government that he won't be a fugitive anymore.
Slowly the world is becoming peaceful.
Ever since Satou's death, Yumeno has got a mental disorder that she knows Takayuki as Satou Hideaki, a guy she loves most.
Takayuki then consults about the problem to Kayonna Charlee, but she then says,
"Then, let it be! Probably that will cure her, and she can assist the WTM with her power!"
"Do you really want to let her in such a pain like that, Charlee san?!"
Takayuki argued.
"Then, do you have any alternative way to solve this? If you do, then do it yourself! For now, I can't take care of her as I am kept busy with the consequence of the Yggdrasil going on. Not to mention that Isshin Kira is still hospitalized."
Kayonna Charlee said.
With no other choice, Yumeno Shion is left to live with Takayuki and as he doesn't have much money to buy a house, he has no choice but to take Charlee's offer.
Takayuki opens the door then Yumeno comes welcoming him.
"Welcome home, Satou!"
She then hugs him and smiles.
"Yeah, I'm home Yumen- Yume san."
As he thought, he hasn't accustomed to calling her Yume.
"Oh my! Where have you been, Satou?! How dare you to leave without telling me?!"
She pouted.
"I'm sorry. You know some monsters invaded the city, so I…"
"Unforgivable! How dare that Charlee tells you to! Not to mention she is your acquaintance!"
She yelled at him.
"I'm sorry! But I did that nit for Charlee san, but it's for the citizen!"
Shen then lets out a sigh,
"Satou never changes, always fight for protecting something. But, still, I won't forgive you before you do as I say!"
She argued.
"I get it! I'll do anything you say, Yume! So, say it!"
"Hug me."
She is blushing.
He with no hesitation hugs her though he has never done it before.
'Somehow it doesn't make me happy. Is what I do right? If it's for her sake, then it's okay, right?'
He said in his mind.

"Yume san, I think I will go to look for food! So, I'm going."
He realizes that he has got many from Charlee for annihilating the monsters in Ichihara.
"No, you can't!"
"Eh!? Why!?"
"You do have me, but why do you prefer to have a meal outside?!"
"Well, I don't want to give you some trouble for that."
The truth is Takayuki doesn't have a mood for vegetables.
"It's all right. I've prepared it for you!"
She smiles at him.
'Carp! I can't refuse!'
Takayuki said in his mind.
The food she has prepared is stew.
"Gulp.."
"What is it, Satou? Are you nervous?"
"No! It's just… I don't-"
She immediately gives him a spoonful of the stew.
"It tastes good, right?"
She asked.
He then swallows it.
"Good...?"
"Really!?"
Yumeno looks so happy.
"Err…"
"Finally my cooking practice pays off as Satou can enjoy my meal."
She said gladly.
'For Satou, eh?'
He said in his mind.
At first, he wanted to eat alone, but he didn't expect that she would feed him till the stew is out.
'To be frank, it's embarrassing.'
He said in his mind.
After that, the couple sits on the sofa and he lets her lean on his shoulder.
"Hey Satou, how about your answer about my confession back then?!"
She said holding his hand tight.
"Answer?"
"Um, does Satou loves me?"
Her question makes him sad but he tries to smile at her.
"I love you too, Yume san."
He answers stroking her head and she sleeps on his shoulder.
'Have I done the right thing? How long should I pretend to be Satou Hideaki for her?'
He said in his mind.
The rain falls out of the blue and it wakes her up.
"Ah! It's raining! I forgot the laundry!"
She exclaimed in panic. He then answers,
"I did."
"Glad to hear that."
She smiles in relief.
That time, he decides to watch the news on TV in her room and he can see so many disasters occur in some countries. Earthquake in the USA, Tsunami in china, and volcano eruption in South Africa, and so on.
"What do you see, Satou?"
She asked in wonder.
"So many disasters have occurred these days. I am getting nervous."
After saying that, she hugs him out of the blue.
"Everything will be all right as long as you stay with me, right?"
She said.
"That's not the problem… But, I hope everything will be all right."
After saying that, thunder strikes out of the blue and the couple remains silent as the rain is getting tenser.
He feels something bad will happen here that he carries her out of the house to find somewhere safe.
And, as he gets out he sees twister devastating the house.
"Satou san! Stay with me!"
He is carrying her to somewhere safe.
"I… Can walk myself!"
"Ah, right."
Takayuki and Yumeno are seen near some buildings and an earthquake occurs collapsing those buildings that the debris is falling at the girl. She tries to break them with her power but it doesn't break at all.
He then summons his short blade from his hand then destroys the debris.
"Satou san!!"
He carries her again.

Slowly Yumeno awakes. She finds herself lying on a shelter in the middle of the rain. From the sound, she can tell that it's raining cats and dogs.
"You are awake, Yume san?"
Takayuki asked her worry.
"Satou! Are you all right?!"
"That's my line! I am good as long as you are."
He said.
"What happened?"
She asked.
"I can feel it. The world will meet its end."
"Isn't it just a disaster?"
"Did you forget that the Yggdrasil is like the heart of the world? I am sure something must happen to the Yggdrasil. That's why, I have to go there! Probably I can stop all of this."
After saying that, she hugs him out of the blue.
"Don't go!!"
"The disaster will keep occurring! If we let that happen, the world will be over!"
"Satou, stay with me… Though the world will be over… At least, we can be together till the very end, right?"
She hugs him tight and he recalls what Charlee said back then.
"Then, do you have any alternative way to solve this? If you do, then do it yourself!"
He then lets out a sigh and he has fed up with all of this.
"Cut the crap! How long do you want to run from the truth?! Satou Hideaki is dead! Do you want to take the end like that?! Taking the thing that Satou protected ruined like that?! I don't want to take this kind of rubbish!"
He shoves her that she lets him go. The rain then stops and it's like the light shines on him.
"I've decided it! I'll change the fate of this world! If the world is full of despair, then I just need to change it with my hand!"
Takayuki said.
"Why? Why do you do something like he did?! Don't you like me? But why did you choose to---"
She argued.
"Because I love you, I have to choose this and if I want to be with you… You'll get hurt eventually!"
"Even so—"
"I have to make you smile, you know that? As long as we were together, I always saw you smiling. The smile you made was not meant for me but someone else, and when I realized it, the one who deserves to make you happy is not me but Satou Hideaki! That's why I have to do this!"
"Even so, you fulfill the emptiness in my heart! That's why… Don't leave me, Takayuki…"
She begged him as she cries.
"I can't do that Yume- no, Yumeno san!"
He continues,
"I have never hoped to live happily with someone I love, but what I want is someone I love to be happy. That's all. That's why… I'll make it come true!"
He turns away and walks leaving her,
"This is the best. Someone like me is not good for her. If I can't make her happy, then I can give someone to make her happy."
He mumbled.

"Daisuke san! Where are you!?"
Takayuki asked through the HT radio.
"I'm trying to evacuate the homeless in Ichikawa!"
"Then, I'm going to the WTM base right now!"
Takayuki is determined to head to the WTM base, but he doesn't expect something to happen as he arrives. He finds the base is ruined. With his quick thinking, he decides to help the people around though he does see some injured as they get piled by the debris.
Good grief Kayonna Charlee survived though she seems panicked and depressed like she can do nothing.
Takayuki then tells her that it's not the end. He tells her that he is heading to the Yggdrasil to keep the world's fate away from despair.
"I did hear a tale about a lone eagle flying without nowhere to go."
Takayuki rushes to the Yawata no yabushirazu forest though the hurricane gets in his way to the Yggdrasil, he keeps moving forward.
"Tough the blizzard gets in its way, the eagle keeps passing it through."
Takayuki then has reached the Yggdrasil and as he is about to touch the Yggdrasil-
"No matter how far has the eagle flown, in the end…"
The twister strikes him and he gets hurled crushing the broken trees.
"The eagle never finds where to preach."
Takayuki sees the great tree Yggdrasil falls down before him and he sees his surroundings and the building from Chiba prefecture are collapsing.
"AHHHH!!!"
Takayuki screams hysterically and cries. He can feel so many casualties caused by this disaster.
"Crap! Crap! Crap!"
Takayuki hits the ground in pique. He just sees despair before him.
"In the end, I can do nothing!"
Then Satou Hideaki's shadow appears before him.
"Are you sure you will give up now? Haven't you determined to change the despair?"
The shadow said.
"That's right! I can't just give up here! Daisuke san told me to do what I want. Issho san told me not to give up! And I have to protect Yumeno san's smile! Even Satou himself, no- not only him, Charlee san and the other WTM personnel who suffer the despair believe in me…"
Takayuki wipes his tears.
"Finally I realize something."
Takayuki slowly gets up and stares at Satou Hideaki's shadow before him.
"In the end, I can't be like you, Satou san. As what I can do is be myself!"
Takayuki said and the shadow then vanishes before his very eyes.
On the ruined WTM base, Charlee and the other WTM personnel have been saved by Yumeno Shion who used her gale power to wipe out the building debris.
"Finally you've come, eh?"
Charlee said.
"He chooses to suffer over save me! There's no way I'll let that slip away by letting him take the pain alone."
Yumeno said.
"What a lovebird!"
Charlee said.
"I've got no time for that!"
Yumeno exclaimed as she is still holding the debris.
In Ichikawa city which looks mostly ruined, Ryoichi and the homeless are saved by Isshin Kira and his personal troops.
"Everyone! Evacuate all the citizens!"
Isshin Kira exclaimed.
"Heh? So you have awakened, eh?"
Ryoichi chuckled.
"If I was absent, who would save the weaklings of the world like you?"
Isshin Kira said.
Takayuki feels another great disaster about to occur and he feels the time freezes out of the blue. He still has time to change everything.
Before the world collapsed, he has reached the Yggdrasil.
"I'll change the fate of this world!"
He then tries to fix the Yggdrasil so the world will return to what it used to be with his power.
"As I thought, there's no way I can fix the Yggdrasil, then I'll take control of the Yggdrasil, and then I can make the world without its existence!"
His body is absorbing all of the Yggdrasil roots and both Takayuki and Yggdrasil have fused into one new entity. At that time, Takayuki sees the origin of himself.
He sees a memory of Satou Hideaki made him. Satou Hideaki turns to light and it came out from the Yggdrasil with the light itself full of darkness.
Then the light headed to the Yawata no Yabushirazu forest and it turned to Takayuki.
"Finally, I understand everything about my origin. All of the memories of the past are fake. In the end, I am just a copy of Satou Hideaki."
Takayuki then turns to a giant tree.
"It's okay if the world is saved. The world doesn't need me as I am not supposed to exist."
He then recalls what Yumeno told him.
"You are supposed not to exist."
But that's the truth.
The natural phenomenon that was about to happen stops in a jiffy.
Ryoichi is glad to see that.
"You did it Michio! Now you have made a miracle just like what Satou Hideaki did!"
Ryoichi said.
"Who is Michio?"
Isshin Kira asked.
"Huh? Michio is…"
Ryoichi is surprised. The memory of Michio Takayuki fades away from his mind.
"Who is Michio? It sounds really important but I can't remember it!"
Ryoichi argued.
The WTM personnel is glad to see the natural phenomenon stopped.
"Finally Satou did give the miracle for the second time!"
Charlee wipes her tears.
"Huh?! What are you talking about? The one who saved this world is…"
Yumeno then pauses.
"I see… The memory about him has faded away."
Yumeno said.
"What are you talking about, Yumeno? Satou did sa-"
Charlee then pauses as she sees Yumeno dripping her tears.
"Good bye, Michio Takayuki."
Yumeno said.
Takayuki is seen with his appearance as a whole tree.
"It's okay if I am forgotten, at least I have done something good."
Takayuki has made the world with no relation with the Yggdrasil as from now on, he will be the Yggdrasil itself. And in the other word, the incident that happened to Satou Hideaki won't happen anymore
Will the decision made by Takayuki give eternal peace to the world?
"Humans will never change. They are just able to fix themselves as the fixation itself peace will come. That's what I believe."
