Emery's voice thundered across the battlefield as he forcefully pulled the critically injured Durak back into his domain. The orc bled heavily, his massive frame limp from the brutal strike.
"Enemy?" Kronos sneered, his eyes glinting with cold amusement. "For all I know, you're the one who dragged me into this mess!... You are the enemy!!"
Emery had suspected that Kronos might not lend aid, but to witness him openly side with the dark elf so soon exposed the depths of his malice. His motivations were as slippery as ever.
Talaro, watching the exchange unfold, chuckled darkly.
"Hahaha… Humans and your petty scheming," he mocked. His gaze shifted to Kronos, filled with derision. "Don't even think of winning my trust. I don't need you!"
