The email stared at me in a manner similar to a loaded gun.

Those two words were enough to change the entire atmosphere around me.
Apart from that, I gripped the edges of my laptop as if the screen were to fall off. The screen was falling off, my pulse was racing too fast but I could only feel it like a heavy echo in my ears. For a very long time, the letters kept blurring until they turned into black strokes but the message did not fade away.
