From MC's Perspective:
Fighting Platform
The middle-aged man, Ben, gazes at his broadsword. His opponent, Zack, has once again dodged all of his attacks. But Ben isn't done yet.
Things are just getting started. He swings his broadsword again. This time, the attack is faster, almost twice as swift. The flaming sword slash surges toward Zack.
From my perspective, I notice the attack's speed has doubled. I prepare to sidestep, but the strike grazes my side.
Boom!
An explosion erupts the next second. The force feels like a powerful blast hitting my body.
Like a projectile, I'm thrown against the barrier. Despite possessing three Ancient Inheritances, my body slams hard into it.
Boom!
It happens so fast that I don't have time to channel my blood force to block the attack.
Thud!
My body collapses to the ground. This is the first time I've felt such intense pain and the first time someone has injured me.
