Shu Shu and Qiao Yaning were on their way to the exam hall when they met a classmate from Class Two who was also in the applied physics program.
They all had the same exam room, so naturally, they needed to walk together part of the way.
"Hey, why didn't we see Lu Mian?"
Most students at Qing University knew Lu Mian had gone abroad for a seminar. Seeing Shu Shu and Qiao Yaning, they gathered around curiously.
A long-haired girl holding a thick stack of study materials asked, "Hey you two, is Lu Mian not taking the exam?"
Shu Shu paused for a moment, but before she could speak, another boy with slicked-back hair checked the time and interjected as if he understood the situation perfectly.
"If we calculate the timing, after the seminar, even if Lu Mian returns on the fastest flight and gets to school as quickly as possible, it'll be four o'clock. She definitely won't make it for the two o'clock exam."
The long-haired girl covered her mouth. "Really? Does that mean she'll fail?"
