Chapter 163 - Chapter 163:

Ganryu and the others had now secured the perimeter around the camp, watching while Kimimaro finished destroying the last of the structure in his tailed beast state.

"Damn, I've gotta hand it to the kid. He sure came through for us." Ganryu said, seeing the incredible power he wielded.

"Yes, lord 5th will be proud," Kogetsu said, knowing that without the boy, this plan would never have been a success.

"He's gonna grow to be one hell of a fine shinobi." Ganryu then said, also feeling proud of the boy.

Kimimaro had finished destroying the camp, having killed pretty much everyone he had seen, sure that only a small handful had been able to escape into the forest on the outskirts.

"Ok, Isobu, I think we are done here," Kimimaro said to the tailed beast, getting a nod from it as the two of them communicated in Kimimaro's inner world.

"I leave it to you, Kimimaro. Call me whenever you need me." Isobu said, relinquishing control back over to Kimimaro.

Slowly the huge body of the three tails started to shrink until it took the form of KImimaro, having the last of the three tail's body sucked into his small frame, leaving him kneeling on the ground.

Kimimaro inspected his handy work from the ground, seeing just how much destruction he had caused, leaving the camp destroyed and the bodies of those he had killed to litter the ground.

"This is Kimimaro." He said placing his hand on his radio earpiece after a moment.

"Mission complete." He then said, reporting it back to Ganryu, kicking one of the Stone shinobi who led on the ground next to him, confirming that he was dead.

"Roger that, kid. Good work." Ganryu replied.

"All units, finish up and regroup back at point A." Ganryu then said, getting confirmation back from all of the other units.

"Rodger that," Kujira said, watching as Chika finished off the last of the fleeing civilians coming through their end.

"I think that was the last of them on our end," Rokuro said, not being able to see anyone else.

"Great, let's head back then," Chika said, taking her water bottle out from her bag to take a sip from, making it look like killing those civilians was nothing, not bothering her in the slightest.

Meanwhile, Haku, Koyuki and the other chunin had also finished up on their end, with Koyuki doing most of the work, feeling like she was missing out on the action.

"I think he's dead, Koyuki," Haku said, watching as she continued to punch one of the Stone shinobi in the face over and over again.

"I know that. I'm just getting my anger out." She said, standing up from his chest before flicking the blood off of her hands.

"Anyway, let's head back. It looks like Kimimaro is all finished." Haku said, not wanting to waste any time.

"Yeah, I can't see any more survivors, can you?" She asked.

"No... I can't sense any." Haku said, getting an agreeing nod from the other Mist ninja.

With that all of the groups headed back to the meeting point, coming together to meet with Ganryu and Kogetsu.

"Good, that's everyone," Ganryu said, doing a head count as he watched the last group arrive.

Everyone looked up and turned around as they heard a rustling from the bushes, putting their guard up seeing that it was Kimimaro as he stepped into the light.

Kimimaro was met with silence from most of the Mist ninja, not expecting anything less from them, after all, none of them knew that he was a jinchūriki, and he remembered his father telling him once people found out, it would cause mixed reactions.

"There he is, good work Kimimaro," Ganryu said, not caring in the slightest.

"Welcome back, brother." Haku also said with a smile on his face.

Kimimaro nodded to them before he turned his gaze on Koyuki and the others, seeing that they were still a little conflicted on how to feel about everything.

"You bastard..." Hattori suddenly said, speaking up as he pushed passed the others.

"You had a power like this and never said anything. Keeping it to yourself and holding back on me all this time!" He said, walking over to Kimimaro as he grabbed the collar of his torn shirt.

"Sorry..." Kimimaro said, looking Hattori in the eye while he said it, not showing any emotion.

Hattori scoffed before he let go of him, turning his back to him.

"Whatever." He said, clearly pissed off.

Ganryu laughed out loud before he turned to address the rest of the troops.

"Listen up you lot. Without Kimimaro's power, you would all be dead by now. So you had better treat him with some respect." He said, letting his words sink in for a moment.

The rest of the Mist ninja remained silent, knowing that Ganryu was right.

"Now, let's get the hell out of here." He then said, getting a small cheer from the others, knowing they had completed their mission.

"Oh, I'm sorry, were you going somewhere?" A sinister voice said, shocking everyone as it gripped their attention like a snake in the grass.

"Who in the hell..." Ganryu said, shocked that he hadn't been able to sense the presence of whoever said that.

"Looks like we found the three tails." Another deep voice said, coming from the shadows of the tree line.

Everyone watched as two dark figures walked out of the darkness of the forest before they finally stepped into the moonlight, revealing black cloaks with red clouds on them, as well as their features.

"No... No... They are!" Ganryu said, feeling fear rush through his veins as he recognized one of them before he looked at Kimimaro, knowing they were here for him.

Meanwhile...

Hisen, the leader of the hidden Waterfall had defeated Kakuzu of the Akatsuki, having been forced to use the hero water. A powerful water that was only harvested once every 100 years or so from the tree of life located in the Waterfall village itself.

The water had given Hisen an increase in strength and chakra by over ten times, making him a real powerhouse, proving too much for even Kakuzu to handle.

However, as powerful as the water was, it came with its drawback, resulting in the life span of whoever takes it to fade away depending on the amount and increase of power they received, ageing them by the same amount.

"Lord Hisen!" His men called out, rushing over to his side.

All of the remaining survivors of the battle had watched the battle unfold, witnessing the amazing power that he had shown in astonishment.

Kakuzu had done a number on the Leaf and the Waterfall's men, leaving only a small handful of them left alive, and if not for Hisen would have killed everyone.

"Sir, my lord what have you done." One of the main captains from the Waterfall said as he rushed over to his leader.

"It's ok, Shimura," Hisen said, still glowing in power from the water.

"But, sir. You know as well as I do what will happen after the effects of the water ware off." Shimura said with a concerned look on his face.

"It's ok, it is something that had to be done," Hisen said, knowing there was no other choice.

Hisen took a look around at the aftermath of the battle, seeing how many men had been killed in this fight, feeling the weight on his heart because of it.

"This Akatsuki..." Hisen said, feeling the effects of the hero water stay to ware off now.

"If all of their members are this strong, then our forces are in for a real shock." He said, not even being able to imagine who was controlling all of them, and what power they must have.

"Sir!" Shimura yelled, watching as Hisen's body started to age at a rapid rate, turning his hair grey and wrinkling his skin beyond his years before he stumbled over from the exhaustion placed on his body, with Shimura catching him before he hit the ground.

"No, lord Hisen please, you cannot die yet. We still need you."

"Shimura... Make sure my son knows what his father died for..." Hisen said softly, feeling all of his strength fading away.

"And make sure he becomes a good leader... He is going to need your help to make our nation great again." Hisen said.

"I will," Shimura said, knowing that these were Hisen's last moments on this earth.

All of the Waterfall's forces gather around their leader, some of them not able to hold back their tears as they watched their chief and commander lying on his deathbed, having sacrificed himself to save them.

"He really sacrificed himself for all of us," Iseto said, watching as he led dying in the arms of his men.

"That is the cost of war." One of the older chunin Leaf ninja said, lowering his head in respect for Hisen who had saved them all.

Iseto did the same before he looked around, not being able to see Kakashi, who was their captain.

"Has anyone seen captain Kakashi?" He asked.

"Make sure you see to it that the mission is completed, Shimura..." Hisen then said, getting a surprised look from him.

"I don't want those Mist bastards thinking we chickened out." He said, making a joke, even in his final moments.

"We won't fail, sir," Shimura said, nodding his head.

"Good... I think I can leave the rest to you now..." Hisen then said, feeling the last of his strength fade away as he died with a smile on his face.

"No..." Some of his men said, feeling the hardship as they watched their leader die.

"Lord Hisen!!!"
