Chrysha's Pov
"Can I ask you?" Faye asked as we both preparing our clothes.
It's been a months since we attended the seminar and there are a lot of things happened in here.
"Yes sure, what is it?" I answered and asked her when someone knocking on the door.
"I will tell you later" she answered where we both stopped fixing our clothes and I headed to the door.
"Oh hi Mr. Acosta, good morning" I greeted soon I opened the door.
"Good morning too, I just want to give you a gift" Mr. Acosta said. A gift? What for?
"A gift Sir? What for?" I asked. Who would not asked and be curious that a mentor will be going to give you a gift.
"That is a thank you gift for assisting me" he answered and kissed me on my right cheek then left.
Now I am standing alone in the hallway with a question of what just happened.
Did he likes me?
How can I explain myself now to Faye what is going on.
I headed back inside and closed the door behind me with the gift. But Faye has nowhere to be found yet her luggage is here. Maybe she's in the bathroom.
I seated in the single couch and opened the gifts. It was a limited 3D camera made in Japan. And a letter!?
"Was that a letter?" Faye asked and I got startled when she came back from the bathroom.
"Yeah, it was from Mr Acosta" I answered while unfolding the letter.
"You have a gift too, huh" where she's heading to her bed as I starting to read the letter.
"And it is the limited 3D camera, but why he give you a gift? Did you ask him?" She uttered and asked and she take the camera after she headed to my place.
"I did and he said it was a thankful gift for assisting him" I answered and fold the letter.
"I think there is still a reason behind that" she said while looking at my camera.
"I think so, and I think I know now you're going to ask" I said as I put back down the letter.
"So what is your answer" she asked and looked at me then sat down on her bed facing me.
"We are just a student and a mentor relationship, and I don't like him" I answered. Because Mr Acosta is a family man and I respect him. He has only daughter and married to his wife Mrs Yeng. He is still young and he has looks of a bachelor that makes you fond of him.
"Don't tell me you don't know about the rumor about you and Mr Acosta? By the way, the camera is cool" she muttered and gave back my camera.
"Rumor? Did you believe in them?" I asked and headed back to my bed.
"A little maybe because you two look like have a relationship" she answered while I am packing my clothes.
Should I tell her about the kiss?
Maybe I keep it for myself for the better.
"You think that huh?" I said and smiled.
"Yea and you are match to him but he have a wife and a child" she said. I just smiled while closing the luggage.
"I don't see we are match" I said and took the bath gown then headed to the bathroom.
Bathroom
I took off the clothes and step into the shower after I put down the bath gown on the wood chair. As I reminiscing about the letter the water started pouring down on me.
He confessed through the letter that he likes me since the second day we met at the auditorium where we started to introduce ourselves, the students as well as them, the mentor and the head managers of every department.
He also stated his feelings for me and how did it happen. At first he said he can't believe he can have feeling to other and it's different from what he felt in her wife when they first met. And the situation of us seems familiar. It was from Dad but the difference are Dad has a child on his affair where ours was unmutual where Mr Acosta was just the one who have feelings.
And maybe his feelings for me will disappear when I leave.
I step out and wear the bath gown and headed out to change clothes.
"I already put your present in your luggage and we have two hours before going to the airport" Faye said where I starting to wear under garments.
"Thank you" I replied as I wearing black denim pants, Victoria's secret shirt and coat then rubber shoes on.
When my phone rings and I looked who is calling. It was Mr Acosta and I looked at Faye. And why he was calling at me? I still take the call and talked to him.
"Hello Mr Acosta, why did you call?" I greeted and asked as Faye is listening to our conversation.
"Can we meet again one last time?" Mr Acosta asked. What?
And Faye pointing at me and whispering "you know why" and I answered her of "I know". But my decision is no.
"Mr Acosta, I'm sorry I can't meet you" I answered and heard his deep breath on the other line.
"I see and I understand and take care of yourself anyway" he said. I feel his sadness on his voice.
"Thank you Mr Acosta and I will, bye" I hang off the phone.
"Let's go" I said after I keep down my phone on my pants.
After few minutes we have arrived at the mall and headed directly to the Me Restaurant.
Me Restaurant
"We are just on time and the customers are few" as we entered.
"So, what are we going to order?" She asked where she was looking up the menu board
"I miss the Filipino food so I am going to order Bulalo A1 and Mango Smoothie for drink" I answered while she's still thinking.
"Good day miss, what is your order? Dine in or take out?" The cashier lady in maroon greet and asked soon the customer in front of me left after she takes her orders.
"Both of us are dine in" I answered and she checked down.
"I'll have the Bulalo A1 and the Mango Smoothie" I repeated as she's writing down my order.
"Alright, and what about you Ms? What is your order?" The cashier lady said and Faye answered while I was waiting on her side
"$60 Ms" we took our wallet, take the money and paid our orders.
"I found a seat right over there" as we headed to the edge of restaurant where glass window is.
"You know I can't believe him he still have the guts to want to see you and did he confess to you?" When we sat down.
"Yea, through to the letter" I replied and we eat.
"He did?" She asked as her eyes get widen.
"Lower your voice, okay, and yes he did, I'll show you later" I answered and finished the food I eating.
"Alright and I'm sorry" she said after she drank up her drink.
I called the waiter to order a food for take out and right after few minutes the waiter came back and gave my order and I paid back.
"Thank you" and we leave the restaurant.
"What if we see him here, what are you going to do?" She asked while we are heading to the Chanel shop.
"He's not" I answered as I keeping the paper bag to my Lee bag.
"Are you sure? How did you know?" She asked again where we entering the shop.
Chanel Shop
"I heard the other day they will going to his wife hometown" I answered while looking bags for Mom and sis.
"I see and that's the other why he wants to see one last time, but this bag I think it's perfect for tita" she said as I am checking the bag I took.
"I know and here is for sister, you think she will like it?" As I took the gray one.
"I think she will love it, it's cute" she's right it's cute.
"What about you? Aren't you going to get for your family?" I asked and headed to her.
"I am but mom has many bags so I am thinking of clothes for her as well as for Dad and my siblings" she answered. So she just accompany me here.
"Is it alright if I am going now but I will wait for you there" she uttered where my phone vibrates.
"Yea go ahead, I will pay first for this" I replied and took the phone before she left.
It was a notification from the group chat here in Singapore saying they will remove us once we get back to the Philippines.
I keep down my phone and headed to the cashier and pay.
