Chapter 1 - Story 1-The Clone

I was young at the time. My family and I would often visit my grandmother every week, but it was usually on Saturday. My grandmother's name was Jerry, she was usually was a sweet and caring woman. She would let me stay up late up past the given I was supposed to sleep, and when I was hungry she would usually make stuff that I loved when I was young.

As well as she would have bought me anything I wanted. She would often comfort me when something horrible happened in my life, for example, the time when my best friend past away from a car crash when he was travelling back home from his friend's party. I could remember the nightmares that night. The nightmares were morbid.

Anytime I tried to fall asleep, the only thing I saw was my friend's face all morbid and gruesome. I could see all the scratches on his body and an eye coming out of his skull. But the nightmares didn't come back at all.

Let's move on. I always loved to visit my grandmother. About every day I would daydream about my visit with her. And that would always be the case and all. THAT was until I discovered the terrible the truth about her. And it still terrifies me to this day.

Well, you see, there was only one thing that she would never allow me to do and that was to never go down into the basement. From what I could remember she would always tell me that the basement was a dark damped place that could give horrible nightmares if I go down. She also told me that she doesn't want me to go down there because she keeps all her priceless possessions. She didn't want me to break them. So she would often put a huge metal lock on the trapdoor, and I was often curious and would watch her every time.

There was one thing I knew: to go down there one day and find out what was down there.

I was on one of my family's visits as usual. All of my family had gone out to get food, and they left me behind since at the time I was busy playing a game. Once the sound of the car's engine can't be heard anymore, I quickly paused the game and quickly darted for the trapdoor. 'This was my only chance' I thought at the time. It was just pure luck that my grandma was more of the careless type. I honestly, wasn't surprised when I noticed the key just hanging on a key hook near the trapdoor. When I grabbed the key I was honestly really nervous, I just put the key in the hole and twist it I heard a simple click saying it was now unlocked.

I carefully moved the lock off and place it down and opened the trapdoor. As I got more nervous I tried to calm down and entered the trapdoor and again carefully closed the door to muffle the sound but failed. As I slowly looked around I gasped in horror. I felt like I was going to throw up just at the sight.

I couldn't believe what I saw.

There was no items, no boxes, there was absolutely nothing. The entire room was bathed in a dark crimson glow as if it was blood. But instead of blood, the glow came several dark red lights that hung from the middle of the ceiling. The only piece of furniture that I could see at the time was a dark blue wooden chair in the centre of the room. I just stood in horror and my heart sunk who I saw in the chair was bound to the armrests of the chair were in a dark grey almost black two metal chains. My body moved on its own closer to the person so I could make them out. As soon as I did, my mind couldn't unsee them.
