"I've prepared the bathwater already, set to a constant temperature, I can wash you."
Su Yan steps into the bathhouse.
She shakes her head
"I can wash myself."
She closed her eyes, leaning on the edge of the bath.
The rising steam blurred her features.
Ye Biao brought a little stool to sit next to her, but he didn't leave.
Instead, he sat obediently within reach whenever Su Yan extended her hand.
His gaze never moved away from her body.
Perhaps it was because of the burning intensity of his stare that had lingered for so long.
It was impossible to completely ignore it.

"Why haven't you left?"

"I want to accompany you."
His voice was dry when he spoke.
Probably because he could tell that Su Yan didn't want him there.
