Aurora Blaine understood what he meant, referring to her own funds.
"Now I'm broke, that's all my life's savings," Aurora peeled an egg in her hand, "I used to have the means to add eggs and sausages to instant noodles, now I can't even afford instant noodles, isn't that pathetic?"
Maverick Knight watched her feigned misery with indifference.
Aurora finished peeling the egg and took a bite, "Luckily I can mooch off your food and drink, otherwise I'd starve."
Maverick Knight set down his utensils, a hint of amusement in his eyes, "So, without me, you wouldn't survive."
