Aurora Blaine was drinking soy milk and almost choked. This sounded so familiar; she seemed to have said something similar before.
She glanced at the man opposite her. Maverick Knight was sitting across, eating breakfast with the same expression.
After eating, Aurora Blaine and Kane Townsend left Felwood.
Kane Townsend asked, "Aurora, do you sleep with Mr. Knight every night?"
Aurora Blaine nodded, trying not to let anything slip, she agreed, "Yeah."
Sure enough, tell one lie, and you have to tell hundreds more to keep it believable.
Kane Townsend sighed, "Then your apartment is empty every night. Why not rent it to me for a while? I won't disturb you guys."

Really?
Aurora Blaine kept smiling, "What rent or not, what relation do we have? Too formal! You can stay as long as you like."
On the surface calm, but inwardly worried.
She really couldn't find a reason to refuse!
A childhood friend, normally living together would be entirely welcome!
