Aurora Blaine came out of the bedroom with her pajamas. She heard the doorbell and walked over to see Maverick Knight standing at the door.
Moreover, Kane's expression seemed a bit strange, so she asked puzzledly, "What's up?"
Maverick Knight looked at her, his tone light, "Aren't you coming with me?"
"What?" Aurora didn't understand what he meant, "Where to?"
Maverick Knight stepped past Kane, unhurriedly walked to Aurora, and put his arm around her shoulders, "Miss Kane, without her I can't sleep, so I'm taking her with me."
With those words, Maverick Knight tightened his hold on Aurora, pulling her closer to him.
Aurora was forced to move along with his motion, leaning into his embrace.
She was completely perplexed.
