Stan Thorne walked towards the car, and Aurora Blaine called out to him, "Mr. Thorne."
Her voice made Stan Thorne stop in his tracks.
The man was dressed in a suit, his handsome face as indifferent as ever as he looked at her, seemingly silently asking what she wanted.
Aurora Blaine walked quickly up to him and handed one of the fruit baskets to Stan Thorne, "This is for you."
"Hmm?" Stan Thorne didn't take it.
"You've helped me several times before; this is just a small token of my appreciation. It might not be much, but eating more fruit is good for your health," Aurora Blaine said with a smile.
Stan Thorne's assistant, seeing her carrying two fruit baskets, asked, "Did Miss Blaine know she'd meet us?"
"No, I bought two intending to eat them myself," Aurora Blaine replied.
The assistant said, "..."
Fruit has a short shelf life; it's best to finish it within two days after buying. She looks so slim, yet she has quite an appetite.
