"That's it I've had enough, no one and I mean no one calls talks to Cra the Crusher like that, out of all the villages I've been to everyone has known their place and knew not to mess with me!"
"This guy is seriously giving me a headache and why is referring to himself as Cra the Crusher. Normally this would be where the bad guy rushes me without thinking."
"From the day I was born, everyone knew that I was special, no one dared to talk back to me. I was the strongest there was in my village!"
"Since when did he start talking about his life story, this is seriously isn't going anywhere..."
"I've been on so many journey's around the world slain many different creatures along the way with these iron gauntlets I'm wearing right no-."
"I've had enough of your monologuing, just hurry up and fight me!"
"Fine, Cra will now pulverise you until there is nothing left!"
Cra ran at Ken with his arm drawn back as if he was about to throw a punch, but the closer he got, the slower his movements became until he completely stopped and couldn't move any further. The people in the crowd look confused, not knowing why Cra wouldn't attack, but Ken looked disappointed.
"So that's as far as you can go, I thought someone as strong as you would at least be able to get past my barrier, but I guess not..."
People started to notice that Ken had formed a barrier of wind around him so no one could reach him. Zad started looking around at the people not knowing what it was.
"Can someone tell me what's happening I still don't understand!"
The innkeeper behind Zad stepped forward and said
"You're his companion, and you do not know what he's doing?"
"We only met recently this is the first time I'm really seeing him fight..."
"I see, then I'll explain it to you. In this world, I'm sure you know that everyone can use magic and manipulate it at their own will, some are gifted and excel at magic, others work hard to improve their ability."
"What does this have to do with Ken?"
"If you would listen, I was just about to get to that! Currently, your friend over there is using his wind magic to create a barrier/forcefield, with that Cra can't even take a single step near him."
"That's insane, doesn't that mean he's almost invincible?"
"Against opponents like Cra he would be, but when fighting some that knows their way around magic, it would be impossible to use an attack like that. It's something that expends way too much mana I think it would be safe to say he's just trying to show off right now..."
Zad wasn't surprised at all Ken wanted to show off and mock Cra, since it was probably something he would do if he had the option.
"Well, I guess he can't help but show off I mean Cra is rather annoying."
Cra stood at Ken's barrier, punch after punch he wouldn't let up at this point it just looked like he was hitting the air like a crazy man. He was full of rage because Ken mocked him for being weak.
Suddenly, Ken released his barrier and stepped to the side, Cra ran right past him, planting his head into the wall of the building. Everyone couldn't help but quietly laugh at Cra. Ken was shocked since he didn't expect Cra to run into the wall headfirst making a hole inside of it.
"Maybe I should end this quickly, so this guy doesn't embarrass himself even more..."
Cra pulled his head out of the hole he had just made and said
"Hahaha, looks like I finally destroyed that barrier of yours now I will crush you!"
"Does he seriously think he destroyed my barrier..."
Ken and everyone around him knew that Cra wasn't the one that got rid of the barrier. They decided not to say anything to make him feel better about himself.
Cra went after Ken once again, but this time there was no barrier stopping him. He ran in with a relentless barrage of punches, but Ken saw through every single one of them dodging one after the next.
"I've got you now! All you can do is keep dodging."
After he said that Ken knew he had to do something before Cra could throw another punch in an instant Ken landed a kick on Cra's stomach pushing him back a few meters. The kick was so powerful it cracked some of his armour.
"That one actually hurt a little kid..."
Cra stood there for a moment after taking the kick. His gauntlets started to glow with a red aura around them.
"I wasn't planning on using this skill against a weakling like you, but it seems like you have left me with no other choice. I'll destroy you now for making a mockery out of me."
Ken knew this wasn't just a bluff and had to be careful of his attacks now, but it only made him more excited. He grinned and said
"This was certainly unexpected... maybe you will be able to entertain me after all."
