Chapter 7 - Lukewarm

Some of you might hate what I'm about to say

But this is the truth and I shall not say it any other way

For you know what you have done

Yet you all take this for fun

You come to god acting like a saint

Then when you're finished you toss him aside like washed out paint

You sing and praise him like he is your everything

When in reality you treasure his love less that a diamond ring

You take up your bible and to him your prayers you send

Then in the evening you sit and listen to songs talking about 'Back Bend'

You cry O'Jesus, please save me from this pain within

When really all you want to do is live your life in sin

You're fake, nothing but a hypocrite

Take yourself from your sin and go to him to recommit

Cursing those awful words thinking it makes you look cool

But in God's eyes he sees you as nothing more than a fool

You shall be spewed from his mouth like what the bible said

Hell has your ticket ready to paint it with your blood red

The devil is using you like a tool, clutching you in his arm

So hurry and save yourself from being so pathetically lukewarm.
