Gu Jin took the key from Dali's hand, placed it into the cloth pouch she carried, and handed it to the silent little kid beside her.

Though this series of actions only took a few seconds, many thoughts crossed her mind.

Gu Jin looked up and jokingly said to Liu Quan, "I wonder if Brother Quan deals in food trade?"

Upon hearing this, Liu Quan looked helpless, "I don't do that, but I do know someone who buys grains."

Gu Jin shook her head with a smile, thinking that now wasn't the right time, in another month the price of grains could skyrocket.

She didn't continue the topic and bid farewell to Liu Quan with the keys in hand.

Upon leaving the black market, Gu Jin didn't take the little kid out of the town; instead, they went to the supply and marketing cooperative.

They found out that there were very few goods inside, not to mention meat, even rice, and flour were gone.

After buying some oil, salt, soy sauce, and vinegar, Gu Jin finally took the little kid on a bus back home.
