When Scarlett Xavier got up, she opened the door and glanced out, seeing Julian Rhodes asleep. She knew he must have come back in the morning, so she didn't disturb him, closed the door, and fed Nora Xavier.
The aunt was cooking in the kitchen, moving quietly. When she saw Scarlett, she asked in a low voice, "Mr. Griffin worked the night shift again, didn't he?"
"Yes," Scarlett replied. "He should have come back in the morning."
"I thought so too," the aunt said. "If he wasn't working the night shift, he would usually get up earlier."
Still sleeping at this time, it must have been a night shift.
Scarlett smiled and sat down nearby. The aunt asked, "Got a cat at home?"
"Yes," Scarlett said. "Its name is Nora, Julian named it."
"Is it troublesome to keep a cat?"
Scarlett glanced over, "Not troublesome. Just need to feed it, and that's it when it's full."
This little thing would go to the litter box on its own, so there's no need to worry.
The aunt said, "That's good."
