Scarlett Xavier said, "Let me make the bed for you."
She carried the quilt out and placed it on the floor.
The quilts at home were all made to fit the bed's size, and they were quite large. It wasn't easy for Scarlett to make the bed by herself.
Julian Rhodes watched this scene and quickly came over to grab the other end of the quilt.
Scarlett glanced at him and asked, "Are you still mad at me?"
"Does being mad change anything?" Julian glanced at Nina and wasn't really angry. He just felt a bit unhappy thinking he couldn't sleep with his wife tonight.
Scarlett looked at him and smiled. The two of them quickly made the bed together.
She took his usual pillow and placed it on the floor bed, saying, "Alright, time to sleep."
Julian lay down, glanced at Scarlett, and didn't make a sound. He just patted the spot beside him, indicating for her to lie there.
Scarlett looked at this man and inexplicably felt a bit sorry for him, so she took off her shoes and lay down beside him.
