Bo Yan was originally a bit angry, but with Xia Siyu causing such a scene, his entire face instantly bloomed into a smile.
However, he thought that wasn't right; he needed to maintain his cool and aloof image, so he quickly pulled his smile back. Yet, his lips had a mind of their own, and subconsciously, they still curved slightly upwards.
As Xia Siyu nudged closer to him, he thought of reaching out and smoothing her hair. But just as he moved, the parts connected to his sympathetic nerves twitched, causing him to frown with pain. Xia Siyu didn't see Bo Yan when he smiled, but she saw clearly when he was in pain, and she smiled with particular glee.
"You're still laughing, still laughing." Bo Yan looked at her smug face, wanting to hit her but couldn't bring himself to, and couldn't scold her either. He had to hold her shoulder fiercely and threaten, "Just see how I deal with you!"
