The twenty-eight Foundation Establishment Examiners, although with little strength left, had no problem dealing with the remaining hundred or so Evil Ghosts.
Everyone understood that resolving these Evil Ghosts would end the battle. It's unlikely that more Evil Ghosts would appear.
So, at this point, the many Examiners no longer held back their strength.
The Evil Ghosts were formidable, but their raw power was akin to wild beasts. Purely in terms of Power, Foundation Establishment experts weren't much stronger than Evil Ghosts. However, the combat skills and Magical Artifacts mastered by Foundation Establishment experts were far superior to those of Evil Ghosts.
It's like humans can't beat wild beasts in hand-to-hand combat, but driving a tank against wild beasts, they would never lose. The disparity in combat levels was too great.
With all Examiners unleashing their strength, the remaining hundred or so Evil Ghosts were quickly dealt with.
