"It… it wasn't supposed to be like this…" Elder Zi murmured, her dazed eyes clouded with disbelief, struggling to accept the reality before her.
"L-Let's talk about this!" Elder Pan suddenly said. "If you agree to stop here, we'll overlook the fact that you killed two of our members and act like we don't even know each other!"
"And if I refuse?" Yuan asked just for the entertainment.
"Then you'll be hunted by the entire Chaotic Sect!"
"If I kill all of you right here, would the Chaotic Sect even know who I am?"
"They will! After all, we wouldn't be here if we didn't receive the Chaotic Sect's approval! In other words, they know who you are and that if we don't return, you'll be the first one they suspect!" Elder Pan said.
