"Hey guys, are you okay after taking the oath?" I asked them.
"Yeah, after we took the oath, we suddenly blacked out and were in our conscience, where we met with a golden dragon..." Alicia said sitting on the couch.
"Yeah, then the dragon gave these marks on our beast and us..., see!" Charlotte said showing me her forearm where there was a symbol of... what looked like....a dragon's eye.
"Yeah but we all woke up way before you did, did something happen?" Gray said looking at me.
"Naah, I was fine." I said, shrugging it of.
"Well then If I may" Jack said "You all should rest for some time, after some time you al will be sent to compete in the trials, so I suggest you train and rest up."
After this, everyone left to their rooms. I was alone in my room when I remembered that I had to collect the manual from Susie. So I went to her room.
"Hey" I said looking at her.
"Hi, so did you talk to the creator." She said pulling her hair behind her ears.
"Yeah"
"The people you killed were hard to dispose, you know" she said smiling a little, "So, are you here for the manual." She said.
"Yeah." I told her.
"Fine let's get it over with" Susie said and stated removing her clothes.
"Okay"
After an hour the transfer was complete but due to some reason this time Susie held me as if saying not to go to my room. I decided to stay for the night.
"Thank you for all you have done for me" I said pulling her in towards me.
"After you leave for the trials, my family will marry me to a member of the Fenrir family." She said hugging me.
"You don't want to?" As soon as I said it, I regretted it, why am I such an idiot.
"Of course not, I think I am in love with someone else." she said resting her head on my chest.
"Really then try asking him, maybe he loves you back" I said looking at her.
"You are the most oblivious guy I have ever seen in my whole life. I love you, you idiot" She said punching me in my stomach.
"Susie, I respect your feelings, but I think, the experiences I have had in the past few months, I don't think I will trust, or love another human being." I said sitting up.
"I estimated as much, that's why I just wanted you to know abut my feelings. I mean we are both around the same age, you are 17, I am 19. I just wanted to try once." She said.
"Well, you are a little late in that manner, if you had done this before I went on the mission, I would have accepted." I said dressing up.
"Well I guess, see you later." She said looking at me.
"Sure, I will meet you later." I said leaving the room.
When I reached my room, I saw, the red spear in the weapon's display, so I went to the training quarters and started reading the manual.

"Then I should start, no one will teach me this time." I said going in my subconscious and opening up the book.
In my subconscious was a new book, red in colour. It opened to reveal the contents inside, a man holding a spear showing various forms, but not in any specific order. Well let me start practicing the stance one by one.

After this I went to my dormitory. There as soon as I sat on the bed I went to sleep. I was woken up by the beeping of my holochrome. It was a call from Alicia,
"Hey" I said rubbing my eyes.
"Where have you been he past five days, no messages, no calls" she seemed angry.
"I was just training" I said.
"Well next time try telling all of us that, you bastard" She said, "Anyways, 2 days from now we will be sent in the trials, the creator will give his speech and stuff" she updated me on the situation.
"Ok, also send a mask to my quarters, I don't want to be discovered just yet, and also, tell everyone to meet me in the evening, we need to go over a few things." I said.
"Yes sir." She said, and cut the call.
"Hey Lily come out" I said out loud.
"You are back" Lily said coming out from the bedroom
"So, now tell me what happened when I met the golden dragon" I said looking in her eyes.
"Well, you were very angry and then suddenly that golden orb thingy opened up, and you were covered with this golden armor, and had a sword, and unseen sword. Then with just one sweep of that sword, you pushed back all three of us. Then the golden dragon started fighting you, and let's just say you had the upper hand even with red supporting him." Lily said smiling.
"That doesn't sound like me"
"Listen, Zack, I know we are keeping you in the dark, but believe we will tell you everything when the right time come, about your origins, your family, everything" Lily said as she disappeared into my conscience.
My teammates were here. we had to go through everything we know about trials in the library, then come up with a way to defeat the trials.
"Hey, everybody here" I said.
"Yeah, here is the mask you asked for" Alicia said.
"You Bastard, where were you?" Gray said punching me from behind, but suddenly I did a stance from the manual.
"I was Training" I said letting go of him.
"It would seem so!" Gray said Getting up.
"So why have you called us all here today." Charlotte said emerging from behind.
" We are all going to library, read all the records of the people from the trials, and what the first level of this hell will be" I said.
The Library was an area in the workshop where, there were holographic records of weapons, beasts and trials, but not a holographic record on history of the continent. It took us one whole week to find what we needed and then it was time for the preparation for the trials. I went shopping and used the allowance i had saved up and bought a retractable shield, just in case, A cloak, and a voice changer.
The day was finally here, we were all gathered here, I was in my mask and the creator came out.
"Hello, everyone, everybody here knows who I am, so I will get straight to point, from this point onwards, you are going to start your trials, and if you clear even the first level, you will be given the title of a landlord, so fight and strive for your future, as for the reward of the Team training, I present Amy with a Mansion in the Capital. Now you may all start your path towards the Portal room in the workshop or follow the guides there. MAY YOU ALL SUCCEED" The craetior shouted and left.
