For the next week everyone was reading books. They didn't seem to find anything, then one day there was a knock on the door. Dean and his dad went up and answered it. Standing at the door was a very dirty and harassed Meg. Sam is in shock, he calls Crowley and Dean to the door. They run up to see what's going on, by this time everyone is standing downstairs watching and waiting. After a few minutes They decided to let her in. But before she comes in she disappeared around the corner, when she comes back she is dragging Ruby with her. The boys help them inside, then they lock down the bunker. Dean prays to Cass and he shows up in a moment. Now everyone is staring at the two women, finally Cass says," Where is everyone? How is it you are the only two demons on earth? Why do you look like this?"
"First of all there are very few demons left. Second we barely made it back to earth. Third we have been held prisoner by some old and I do mean OLD gods. I'm not sure who they are but the one who is destroying demons is called Cronos. He plans on taking over the earth but he has to have gods and demons power his war machines as well as himself. Listen Clarence can you heal this body at all? it's about to completely fall apart. I'm not strong enough to hold it together anymore."
"Wait a minute, Your names are Meg and Ruby correct? I have a deal for you. Will you give up your lives of deceit and murder?"
" Wait your Lucifer's son, but your god."
"Yes now answer the questions."
The girls look at each other then look at Jack and say," YES."
Jack closes his eyes then he touches both of their for heads. After he opens his eyes both women stand up and open their wings.
Crowley looks at both of them, then at Jack and says," Nice way of getting around things there kid."
"Just remember what I give I can take away. Now tell us what is going on. Who is this Cronos? And what does this have to do with the monsters?"
"We are not sure. He says he is an old god and it's time for his come back. He needs demons to feed him, or something like that. The monsters are here to weaken the earth."
"Listen when he was torching my body for the fiftieth time he was babbling something about feeling the child God's death. And he knew about the four horsemen being destroyed."
"Awesome, so what Meg and Ruby are saying is that because of the Apocalypse and Chuck being a Dick this old god is Hell bent on taking over earth. But the part I don't understand is Chuck never died, isn't he alive in some retirement home right now? And aren't you God now, so he's got that wrong."
"Well I suggest both Bobby and Garth start looking for the name Cronos so you can cross reference it to see what we can learn about him. For now I will take the angels back to heaven and we can look through our archives to see if we can find the name. Maybe I will talk to Mary and John and see if they know who this is. Then when we actually have news we will meet again. Good luck everyone."
With that Jack, Cass, Meg, Ruby, and Crowley all left. For a few minutes people were completely silent and then Ketch broke the silence. "Okay so we just saw a miracle right, I mean God just turned two demons into angels. That was interesting. Now does anyone have any ideas on where to look for this guy? And how do we prep to fight him?"
" Come on IDJITS let's get to work. We can talk about miracles later. Right now we still need to train to fight the monsters. So we will still have the tactics and fighting classes but I think the other classes should be focused on finding out who this Cronos is and how we stop him. So Ketch, Dean you get your classes moving while me and Garth will work on the books. Sam I think you and Dean might want to work on warding and shield spells for a while. Also make up plenty of hex bags for invisibility. Those three things should be top priority."
"Awesome, at least we have a direction to work in now. Okay people let's get a move on. Everyone to your classes, you have your orders."
So everyone raced off to the classes they had to be in at that time. And the search for Cronos began.
