Following a river stream going to the north, i was walking along side it. The encounter rate of red dots are also now decreasing...there's only one reason.
It's that there's a nearby settlement, but on my map I cannot see one or two nearby.
[There is even a road at the riverside...i guess it's a path that is.....hmm...]
Suddenly, coming from the south, a blue dot is fast approaching.
It's only one tho~, let's not meet it.I then grapple on a nearby tree and wait there until that individual passed by. It was a horse pulled carriage driven by an old man....hmmm....let's hitchhike.
Activating cloak and thruster jump,i safely and silently touched down at the top part of the carriage and there i boarded on a very convenient transport, and luckily he's going to Miruzo City since this road is directly straight there.

The speed also was fast so the estimated time of arrival is 2 days...at least it was less before and i can have my PD-1 deployed all the time... and now that i have noticed it, the battery of the PD-1 is rechargeable with my mana with a mp cost of 10/charge.
Trotting over a wooden bridge, there we passed the river and resumed to the road at the other side.
I wonder...i feel guilty in hitchhiking without getting his permission. Oh well... let's just protect him and his carriage if there's any nearby hostiles.
Deploying PD-1 i had it hover 30 m overhead of us, i also deployed PD-2 to accompany alongside it for precautionary measures. Now... the reason as to why i can control 2 at the same time is because of a new skill i have learned earlier...

Oho~ it's a nice skill that grants me the freedom to multi task. Simple to say, i used it at the drones which allowed me to control all 2 with my mind, also i can now see their RTV and manually control them, it's convenient isn't it?
While on the travel, i have killed 10 monsters, 5 bandits and many more, making me level up to 15. I also noticed that i can allow the drone to scout up to 5 km ahead, which is far by the way since most drones i have known back at earth have ranges of 2 km and the unmanned plane drone can go up to farther more.

Generally, PD-1 and PD-2 are proximity drones capable of being a sentry and patrol at the same time. So it's understandable that they cannot go beyond 5km.
That's the disadvantage of drones, but they also have advantages. They are easy to command and control...that's all.
For two days, I've been protecting the old man. He still haven't noticed so i continued what i have started.
Then we reached the border wall, i then descended the carriage silently and walked at the roadside.

The wall are really tall, about 10 meters in height. There's also a line inspection separating the people line and the carriage line for better and faster inspection.
I can also see races other than humans: there's a vampire with a parasol, some people with animal ears and tails, dwarves, elves, and there is also an alraune.
Simple to say, this country does not discriminate other races which gives me a sense of relief.
IDs are also needed here at the inspection, i should issue mine.
My clothes are also changed into the combination of clothes i got from those bandits, similarly this getup is a mob A outfit or AKA villager outfit. This should fit the fashion sense here.

Nodding in silence, i then gave him 3 silver coins and exited the interrogation area.
Exiting the entrance inspection area, the view of the large city greets me.
I can see it from afar tho~ there is also a large gap between the wall and the city since the remaining land is converted into farms and plantations of vegetables, fruits, herbs and spices and various other medicinal plants.
[The city is busy too~, is there perhaps an occasion?]
Walking the roadside, many carriages have passed me and all are probably merchants since they're carrying various merchandises at their individual carriages.
On the other point, Miruzo City boasts an area of 5 km by 4.8 kilometers or 24 square kilometers. It's fairly large but the cities back at earth were much more wide and large compared here.
There's also the river from before and it penetrates the city, thus there were also boats at the river.
Some people then passes to me while rising on monsters...probably tamed ones and mostly are 4 legged beasts or a bird similar to an ostrich.
Entering the city, a very busy street filled with stalls, stores, carts was what greeted me.
The fragrant smell of barbecue suddenly wafts at my nose prompting my stomach to react at that wonderful smell..now.. where did that come from?

The smell came from the cart of a skewer seller....mmmm~ it's really delicious na!

Leaving the seller and his cart, I stored the skewers at my inventory since I'll eat those at lunch time. Though I'm actually itching on eating it right away.

Resuming my walk, i was actually handed some flyers by a maid of a cafe...maid? There are maids here?
Ah...no...these girls are only wearing those for their job of advertising the services of their cafe. So...even this kind of shops are available here...amazing.
Almost all of the shops and stalls at this street where i am walking at are selling food stuffs and beverages.
There is also a stall that sells spices and herbs along with salt and sugar. Sugar though...is quite pricey. 10 silver coins for a kilogram and 5 gold coins for a sack of it.....roughly the same as 50,000$ for a sack of white sugar....i can buy a small car with that amount of money.
Haa~ somehow the prices here are very different compared to the ones back at earth...this only indicates the one of the many difference between earth and this world.
