The trees started to be clear in an odd path. The area that they were traveling through even seemed to have plants that grew which would deter most common monsters. Looking more closely, Walker found that the tree roots grew in ways that made it impossible for plants to grow on the path they walked. He even noticed that the thorn bushes growing between those trees were tougher than normal.
"It's like these trees and bushes were grown in ways to make sure that there wasn't anything else that would grow here." Walker and Gil knelt to look at them more closely. The two of them had seen enough intentionally grown plants to understand that this was something very well planned out.
"You don't think this was done because it was a road at one point?"
