While Chen Xin piloted the White Dragon and led the Titan team into the danger zone to begin searching for alien life forms, their actions were also detected by the aliens.
As Chen Xin had suspected, these alien life forms indeed have superior command nodes and a cognitive network.
However, the superior command node was not the mothership that Chen Xin had previously guessed, but something that has yet to appear.
The mothership does possess high intelligence and has some command abilities, able to serve as a command node for the alien life forms.
But this command node is similar to frontline junior officers, merely a sub-command node for the aliens with very limited scope and number of subordinates it can control.
In a sense, the existence of the mothership is merely an extension of the superior command node, akin to a signal amplifier used to transmit orders from the superior command node to sub-command nodes.
