Richard's footsteps echoed in the cavern as he moved forward.
Hopefully, no more shortsighted guardian creatures will come crashing in. That would be best for both sides... Richard pondered as he walked over a hundred meters.
"Roar!"
A huge roar emerged from the darkness, disturbing the air, shaking the ground, as a massive shadow several meters tall charged swiftly.
Clearly, shortsighted guardian creatures were everywhere, especially numerous in this tomb.
Richard raised an eyebrow, the scarlet night-vision light in his eyes deepening as he clearly saw the face of the approaching entity.
It was a three-meter-tall, six to seven-meter-long creature resembling a beetle, covered in gray armor, with a triangular head, opening its mouth repeatedly to make sounds.
A faint stench accompanied the sounds.
