"Ah, finally it's over."
Hu Shiwu stepped out from the military tent, stretching himself languidly.
Surveying the endless expanse of the Gobi Desert in front of him, he smacked his lips with a bit of distaste as the blood-red sun slowly rose between the undulating dunes, the morning wind whirling fine sand among the pebbles.
Due to the longitudinal reasons, sunrise in the border desert occurred around nine o'clock in the Imperial Capital's time. Hu Shiwu looked around and noticed Xiang Nan, dressed in black combat clothes, standing outside the camp, gazing up at the sky, lost in thought.
Hu Shiwu yawned hugely, sauntering over nonchalantly, "Old Xiang, what are you looking at?"
Xiang Nan didn't speak, continuing to stare into the sky. Muttering to himself, Hu Shiwu followed Xiang Nan's gaze and suddenly his eyes widened.
"Holy shit!"
A pitch-black line cut across the cloudless sky, stretching the entire expanse, disappearing at the horizon, cleaving the dawn-lit sky in two.
