Tiana Thorne used a cotton swab to stop the bleeding and shrugged, "I'm good."
Maxim Ford instinctively wanted to take her hand to check the wound.
Tiana subtly hid it behind her back, "Mr. Ford, it's your turn."
One moment she calls him brother, the next it's Mr. Ford.
Maxim Ford slightly furrowed his brow and had the doctor take a DNA sample.
Everything was ready, Tiana leaned against the hallway wall, looked over, and saw Maxim sitting there, lost in thought.
"When will the result be ready?" Tiana asked.
"In an hour."
Tiana moved a little closer to him, "Until the result is out, Mr. Ford, please refrain from seeing me. Of course, since I'm a public figure, everything we've done tonight, please keep it confidential for me, thank you."
Maxim lightly clasped his hands, seemingly unused to Tiana's change in demeanor.
But her request wasn't unreasonable.
"Alright."
"Then I'll be counting on you, Mr. Ford," Tiana smiled slightly.
