Chapter 49 - Chapter 49: There's Always a Price to Pay, Isn't There?

Tiana Thorne's dark pupils shone like pearls, as she lowered her head onto May Sloane's injured leg.

May, trembling slightly, looked at her: "What is it? Have you figured out something terrifying again?"

The first time, Tiana nearly calculated away half of her life.

Tiana's lips curved into a smile, the coldness in her eyes deepening: "Of course, it's to find the person who hurt you."

May was taken aback, then looked down at her leg again, finally understanding: "You mean, my leg was deliberately injured a second time by someone else?"

Tiana nodded: "Let's walk and talk."

"Alright."

Once in the car, Tiana leaned lazily against the back seat, pondering the series of events that occurred today.

At that moment, a police officer came over and knocked on the car door.

Tiana rolled down the car window, her smile coquettish and charming: "Officer, is there anything else?"

The officer, upon seeing her smile, felt this woman was utterly enchanting.
