Shen Chi's hand caressed her belly, his movements gentle and filled with doting affection.
"I'm fine. You can keep drinking outside." Xu Chaomu pushed him away, her tone indifferent.
However, she couldn't push him away and could only frown.
"I was wrong..." Shen Chi apologized, "Punish me however you want."
Shen Chi offered no explanations; he had gone out to drink, and that was a fact.
"As if I dare to punish you, let go." Xu Chaomu opened her eyes, glancing at him.
"You're still like that little wildcat from before when you're angry." Shen Chi lowered his head, smiled, and planted a light kiss on her forehead.
"For the baby's sake, don't be mad at me, okay?" Shen Chi coaxed.
"Either continue drinking outside or go take a shower." Xu Chaomu looked at him with disdain.
"Mhm." Shen Chi obediently nodded his head.
He gently laid her on the bed and caressed the back of her hand before heading to the bathroom.
