Grey and the others did not try to argue with Chris, they knew they needed to deal with the portal before it was too late.
Grey and Void rushed in the direction of the portal while Chris and Klaus followed behind them, their intention was to protect Grey and Void as they dealt with the portal.
As they were about to get to the opening on the ground leading to the place where the portal was located, two Gnomes rushed over.
"Another step and you're dead." One of the Gnomes who just arrived declared icily as he struck out a palm made of the darkness element.
Grey and Void were the ones in front, so they were the ones the attack was aimed at. The duo did not even try to block it, using their space element, they teleported right past the attack, charging into the opening.
